Thanks man this helped. First time board buyer. It may help too, for anybody else who watches this, I didn't have any sandpaper so I used a scissors and ran the sharp edge along the fin base to shave a little off. Obviously you have to be more careful with this approach though :)

guys my fins arnt glassed on but they dont seem removible i cant find the screw holes. help!!

Good tip about only going for finger-tight, so as not to strip the hard to replace screws!
