  • if u want to live a life,,sg is not a choice....

if u want to live a dream,,,then maybe it is....

  • this is in 2008, 2011 singapore is more establish

  • ii thought Singapore was a poor Asian country...turns out I was wrong

  • @tinybenni no we are actually pretty rich, well the government is... (im not boasting)

  • I may be living for a year in Singapore. Would I be able to enjoy an ordinary lifestyle there only knowing English?

  • @neuksd yes. almost every singaporean can speak English especially the young ones. but we have our own style of English called, Singlish.

  • Singaporeans changed one abandoned island into a global metropolitan city which now leads the global economy. Greetings from Korea! ^_^

  • if we all stop being so negative, then this earth will become a better place. Start off with yourself. Don't judge other people or government so negatively without knowing the truth, the law and the intentions of their actions. Just knowing small piece of the big truth doesn't count either. All states has their flaws and good sides. Because a government rules different than yours doesn't mean that its bad.

  • I think Singapore is a great country. And Singaporeans too. They created highly developed global center city from abandoned island. It's like Korea.

  • Singapore is an inspiration for all Asian countries. Singapore is not only economically rich, but also Singapore citizens can be referred to as astute people of unquestioned moral rectitudes. Singapore military is also very advanced and effective. The people of Singapore are all Patriots. You can never underestimate them just because they are a small country.

I would love to travel there one day.

  • Fail. People, stop arguing. Watch the video and that's it. What others think of Singaporeans, will not change our love for our country. (Unless we hate Singapore in the first place).

Haters, at least admire how this video was crafted.

Peace out. Arguments here won't change any political system.

  • As a resident of Hong Kong, I think Singapore is a good city-state with a strong economy and identity. But if they really want to be a role model for other cities in Asia, they have to scrap their mandatory military service policy and stop using capital and corporal punishment. They also have to ensure freedom of speech in the press and the media, and stop censoring and banning media specific topics that the government doesn't want to be known and discussed by the public.

  • Look at what britain is... freedom of speech.... rubbish economy now... tubes always failing... many riots.. heavy racism and in huge debts.... many crimes.. people are getting worst... Why do you reckon the europeans.. migrate to become expatriates of asia like HK or singapore..... sorry but unless you live long in a shittier system , you would not appreciate the better of your own country... i used to hate singapore but think of it... they have security... peace... and its works like swiss

  • Singapore is bad because it has a low crime rate? How the hell does your mind work? heh.

  • Singapore is awesome !

  • The Associated Press Aug 2010

"Singapore regularly ranks near the top in expatriate quality of life surveys, and the govt expects the economy to grow as much as 15 percent this year as trade, finance and tourism boom after the global downturn. Foreigners from developed countries are drawn to jobs in finance, shipping and at corporate regional headquarters. Singapore's tough law-and-order policies tend to attract many expatriate families and other visitors.

  • Oh shit you find these indians and pakis in Singapore to fuck they are everywhere

  • singapore OOOO no good

  • @butterflyee2000

If you commit no offences or break the laws in Singapore, you will find that our laws ensure the safety of the whole country and not worried about meeting a rapist or even a murderer while going home late Getting caned isn't the same as flogging and the canning will ensure that you will never forget your wrongdoings However,no matter what sort of murder a person commited, he can still hear his case in a court

  • @lolossie Safety and security are always used as an excuse to allow repulsive inhuman physical torture. Judicial caning as it exists in Singapore is nothing more than legalized brutality by a criminal government. It is EXACTLY Flogging and has no place in any civilised society. Sadly Sadistic Singapore and Malaysia are only a few of a handful of third world uncivilised places on earth that allow this cruelty. Vicious perverted homosexuals and or savage sadists are employed to brutally beat males

  • sadly indians and pakistani are immigrating there and bringing poverty to this wonderful city

  • @trancebeliever Erm, no. Where did you dug that information from? They help with the economy as well. eg the workforce industry, etc.

  • @Montalox some of them are helping the economy. Most are unemployed, creating slums on the outskirts and increasing violence data

  • @trancebeliever I dont see them loitering under the HDB flats or elsewhere tho'. The recent increasing violence comes from local teen itself. eg. The slashing case that appeared on the news. You sure you live in Singapore? There are no slums here - mind you.

  • if come Singapore find me, we go Geylang eat durian and go Lagoon eat Satay! STEAM!!!

  • if come Singapore find me, we go Geylang eat durian and go Lagoon eat Satay! STEAM!!!

  • singapore rox :D no disasters, no racism issues, no need to worry much for security

  • @XTrevvion Reminds me that Singapore is the pioneer of non-villages country, the 1st country would lead mega cities out of misery ( cures energy crisis, food crisis, water usage, culture diversity soulution.etc . Msia is still working on it, i believe.. No offends )

  • oh ya and we have the super big tall artificial tree garden where a tree is 10 storeys tall and u can go up to the tree . Its like when u shrink into an ant. Super cool in a year time ! Come visit us next year and To our rooftop garden

  • Sorry but we are not a fishing village anymore and our country takes only the most 1hr to get from north to south of the island. we should be happy about that.

  • My home!

  • love SG!!!

  • Yay! I am coming home in DEC...i really miss my family, friends, relatives, neighbours, aunties and uncles on the streets and everything about Singapore.. Why?? Because this is my country and this is my home.. I love you Singapore..

  • @Americans: Go ahead and bahs Canada in any which way you seem fit. I speak only truths from points I am more than happy to reply; mind you, I can prove ym points, unlike those who require using vulgarity or stereotypical slanders to provoke one's country's view on the world.

I say don't dish it if you can't take it.

Thanks for the video @bestdestination, I look forward to adding Singapore to my international voyage list.

    Take care all

  • Within a week a british author has been sentenced to JAIL FOR WRITING A BOOK. This is an absolute violation of Free Speech and expression - and the international community condemns Singapore for this act. Reported In the communist government controlled paper, the courts sentenced a man to FLOGGING of 24 lashes. This TORTURE is internationally prohibitted, yet the

sadistic government continues their reign of Terror. Those responsible committing these acts should be held fully accountable.

  • @butterflyee2000 The author should have read its people's codes of conduct before doing what we see as a liberal right. If Singaporean Law was the same as british and American law, I can guarantee you their entire population would be as scrupulating and anal as you are for judging other countries and how they perceive power of security.

I would continue, but then I realize that continuing this blabber to an infant drops me to your level, so I bid you adieu.

    Tourists: Do your research.

  • @damin00388 Tourists please do your research, and learn what any moron can see, what Singapore authorities are doing. Only countries with repressive regimes do the things these criminals do. Power of security of course is just one of their excuses, and yours, to try to defend that which cannot be defended. It is NOT a secret that the Singapore mob uses its courts and archaic laws to silence dissenters;it is Singapores sad signature. Come to Singapore -you may get what you deserve yet.

  • @butterflyee2000 You either made a new account cos your old one's been banned / spammed, or you're just too coward to face the fact that you haven't done enough research and thus being condemned by your false words.

  • @VioletStarAzure AND I will continue to speak the truth about a vicious government that discriminates against boys and adult men and imposes addtional sadistic sentences Torturing them with Floggings every week in the prisons. Almost all civilised first world nations find these brutal beatings repulsive and have outlawed them. Terrorists and only a few countries such as Singapore still practice this barbarism

  • @butterflyee2000 Other first world countries also punish criminals for their wrongdoings. Can you state which country lets their criminals escape unpunished? This 'barbaric' manner contributes to the safety of everyone including the safety of other countries as well. And lol, you've been saying the same thing at least twice.

  • @VioletStarAzure Punishment is one thing but Torture is quite another. Who said anything about criminals escaping punishemnt? I never have. What I have said, if I have to say it one thousand times I will, this government imposes additional barbaric Floggings upon men. In many cases these vicious beatings are MANDATORY. Would you also approve of other torture methods for safety reasons? Few first world civilised places on earth allow this cruelty-OUTRAGEOUS!

  • will be there this december yeahhhhhhhhh

  • haters seriously do you have that much time to spare that you go around insulting another's country? would u like it if someone insulted ur country? no country's perfect but singapore is as close as u can get to perfect

  • @butterflyee2000 you have yet to produce the evidence to back your claims. we shall all wait for the day that the 'truth' shall be revealed - never.

  • @grapejuice I can almost guarantee you @butterflyee2000 is American, and therefore you shouldn't judge his judgements: he/she is raised in a society where all non-American countries are weak and therefore should follow their lead. Why else start a Korean War, Vietnam War, or Iraq War?

I as a Canadian and dewildered as to why American pigs think so highly of their immoral selves, and bid my neighbours to rethink their words before allowing their corrupt mind to let-slip foul words upon others

  • @damin00388 You are Not fooling me. YOU are Not from Canada. You sound as warped as some of the Singaporeans here. You are either an ignorant Singaporean or American. Cruelty is Cruelty and it doesn' matter where you are from.

  • @butterflye2020 @VioletStaraAzure should ignore you. Because only 'babarians' go around slandering another's country. Singaporeans live in multicultural harmony, does your country do that?

You have a lot to learn from us about respect and manners, know that?

  • @VioletStarAzure don't worry, I'm with you.

  • @grapejuice Thanks dude xD

  • There are no circumstances in which judicial torture is acceptable. The United Nations is clear regarding cruel, degrading and inhuman punishment tantamount to torture. The government of singapore ignores international standards set forth by the majority of member nations. Singapore as it exists today is a pariah in the world. Untill its government adopts civilised behaviour, its reputation will continue to be tarnished as a Barbaric police state.

  • @butterflye2020 I read through ALL your comments. you should feel honoured. so you're a pro at Singaporean law huh?

PROVE IT. All your comments don't have backing.

  • @grapejuice You know you don't have to be a pro or rocket scientist to know the truth about the crimes against humanity that this dictator and his followers have committed, and the atrocities that are still being perpetrated in this police state. Respect is NOT learned--it is Earned --and there is Nothing to respect. Try to ignore the truth as you wish-but the truth will always be revealed

  • The Associated Press Aug 2010 said tht Singapore regularly ranks near the top in expatriate quality of life surveys, and the govt expects the economy to grow as much as 15 % this year as trade, finance and tourism boom after the global downturn. Foreigners from developed countries are drawn to jobs in finance, shipping and at corporate regional headquarters.

Far from scaring them off, Singapore's tough law-and-order policies tend to attract many expatriate families and other visitors.

  • Singapore is an Int Arbitration Hub. A 2010 survey by Prof Loukas Mistellis of Queen Mary Uni of London based on interviews w a wide range of corporate officials across the continents, said Singapore's edge is gained from its excellent legal infrastructure, good govt support, track record on neutrality and highly skilled judiciary. Singapore's Maxwell Chambers was lauded equal ranking with Paris and Tokyo. This survey was sponsored by White & Case, the 12th largest law firm in the world.

  • Victims of crime will react, understandably, irrationally and emotionally with bias toward the criminal that commits the offense. A government should act without bias and should protect innocent people from violence--It should not initiate it as the government of singapore does. My compassion is NOT toward criminals, but it may make you feel better to keep saying it. ALL human beings have the right to be treated in a humane manner, not beaten or tortured. And, I have been a victim.

  • @butterflye2020 Go check out your country's guantanamo bay. then try preaching again.

And the Singapore government does NOT "initiate violence". The death sentence is usually only reserved for people who have killed. So it is retaliatory.

The death sentence is a deterrent. There is a huge overall benefit from society if the heavy punishment of ONE murderer leads to the prevention of A HUNDRED murders.

If your mom was murdered for no reason, I doubt you would say what you're saying now.

  • @r3an1maXion Singapore's repressive government certainly DOES initiate Violence, --against the male gender. Additional sadistic violent physical punishments of FLOGGINGS are court ordered only to male law offenders evert single WEEK in Singapore. The chilling Mandatory death sentence is not only reserved for murderers-it is commonly and unmercifully used on drug offenders.

NO statistics on deterrent, and personal emotions should have NOTHING to do with "blind justice." 'Barbaric dictatorship.

  • @butterflye2020 Doubt the govt really has a choice. The country is so small it can't afford to let the people make mistakes. If drugs go widespread, its game over. Human Labour is Sg's most important resource.

Sg basically operates in such a way that, if you don't do shit you don't get shit. You should try staying there to get a more objective view on Sg.

How do you get statistics on deterrence? Its not possible.

Justice in the eyes of a victim would be retaliation with appropriate measures

  • @butterflye2020 Without the death penalty, its trading like 10++ years of the murderer's life for the victim's entire life. And what about the impact on the death of the victim towards the victim's family? And this relatively more lenient sentence for what purpose? To hope he repents? Thats the reason repeat offenders exist. Lenient laws.

Its much better to take away the life of an asshole to save the many lives of non assholes.

Also you haven't addressed guantanamo bay. (:

  • @r3an1maXion To be honest, Any form of corperal punishment is just against my moral beliefs... and as for caning/execution as a deterrant, I don't believe that's fully true either, especially with drug dealers who have gone far enough as to not even care about the consequences!

This isn't an insult to Singapore, by the way... in fact, I think the reason Singapore has a low crime rate is because of its society, not the 'deterrent' of corporal punishment

  • @lolazman This is a society that is an oppressed one because of its communist dictatorship. This government not only authorizes torturing drug dealers (and kills them) but also brutally beats immigrants (absolutely unthinkable in a first world civilised nation - which Singapore is not) It doesn't matter whether you intended to insult singapore because any views that are contrary to the dear leader LKY is considered by his fanatical followers as treason. Singapore-your absolute worst Nightmare.

  • @somuchsolittleful absolutely worst nightmare only for people with bad intentions. -_-

  • @butterflye2020 Erm... Your 'onle' is spelled wrongly, it's 'one'.

  • @Rea11yGr8 Thank you for your correction, By the way is "ERM" a new English word?

  • @butterflye2020 Do you know why Singapore is one of the safest place in the world? Because it has strict laws and why were punishments some kind of tough? So that people will not try to fool around with Singapore laws, and hence making Singapore one of the safest place in the world. Why do we carry out these puniishments? To show that we didn't put these laws for fun, and we are serious! That's why once again, Singapore don't torture, it's just keeping herself safe.

  • @Rea11yGr8 Do you know what ruling by Terror is? This is how the criminals in Singapore rule their populace - with the threat of Beatings (for men) and death. The laws of this dictatorship are not just strict--they are EXCESSIVE. Flogging males is not just "tough." It is considered Torture by most of the modern world's countries. Legalized brutality is OUTLAWED in most first world civilised nations-it is Not acceptable. Any nation can torture and consider itself safe-Disgusting abuse.

  • omg i miss my country so much going back tis december!!

  • One thing for sure, the food is really nice!

  • aww i miss Singapore!! LOVED it!!! GREAT place =) wanna go back someday!

  • @soursoop29 you're right, ...depends on where we go and where we shop. . Upmarket stuff along Orchard Rd shopping tourist belt or our neighbourhood shops. Cold Storage or Ntuc.

  • Thanks guys!

  • I was looking at a Global Competiveness chart for 2010-2011, I noticed the unformiliar name of Singapore that came in third place, behind Swizterland and Sweden, but in front of the U.S as of this year. Very interesting place from what i've learned.

From the United States to Singapore, Congratulations on the hard earned 3rd place!

  • Whatever it is...or it was... i love my country.. SINGAPORE and proud to be a PURE SINGAPOREAN...PERIOD!!!!!!!! Those hatred words or messages can GET LOST!!...

I have my class95/gold90.5 to keep me company all the way...love 1000x..

  • @durian74 thats the spirit durian!

  • These are the things that make me proud of Singapore. When they say uniquely singapore they mean it literally.

  • Singapore.... a hybrid country

  • Very Beautiful ! !

  • I love Singapore

  • Fantastic ! Singaporeans are a very closely-knitted lot - the reason why this country has powered on tremendously. What with the YOG shown worldwide, and we get to watch it overseas! ..then the F1 nite race wowed the world with 500 million people around the globe soaking in the atmosphere!! And I'll say this over and over again..Singapore was a picture postcard in perfection. What a place! My country too!

  • yeahhh i'll visiting singapore this coming oct! travelling all the way from KL...haha

  • Majulah Singapura!

  • nice background music....what is the name of it...i like it very much

  • nice background music....what is the name of it...i like it very much

  • Thumbs up if love Singapore :DD

  • If you like vibrant night life, great variety of food, in-your-face crowd, concrete jungle/city life and cheap or free fuck, singapore is the place to be. If you like to be able to walk the streets way past midnight, yes come here. But if you want awe-inspiring natural wonders, magnificent ancient monuments or stories of a glorious long culture like some other countries have, Singapore is definitely not the place. It is boring, that's why Singaporeans just love to get out and travel.I'm one.

  • i heard you can be arrested and tortured there for doing close to nothing

  • @andresq4545 PLEASE do research on Singapore, Especially if you are a Male or a Foreigner. Many draconian laws and barbaric punishments. Singapore is known worldwide Torturing males (Floggings). You can be sentenced to be brutally Beaten for over 35 offences - Even non violent and minor things like overstaying a visa, mischief/vandalism, fraud crimes etc. People ARE arrested for writing books, internet / facebook / blogs. No Freedom of speech or right to assemble and all media is censored.

  • @butterflye2020 sheesh, no benefit of the doubt i guess. well, most of those crimes i wouldn't commit anyway... are there any less known "crimes" that i might commit without knowing?

  • @andresq4545 Well be careful speaking your mind as I mentioned there is no freedom of speech; and authors and those making comments on internet blogs or Facebook have been arrested. There are other ludicrous laws also--check outrage someones modesty. Singapore government is run by sadistic criminals and the judicial system is unjust, sexist, and discriminatory toward males.

  • @butterflye2020 - you are such a disgusted stupid bastard bitch , keep trying to stain singapore? You are a sicko , shit ass who know nuts and the hell do you think you are? Dont your mother teach you how to behave or your hand has not been tied when you are young . You have come out with so distorted fact about singapore and you are not stating the fact that singapore have achieved 1st class honours in many areas, so wake up your fucking ideas!

  • @butterflye2020 Do you base you opinion on news reports? I greatly encourage you to read and find out for yourself the actual judgements made in courts and the qualifications of the leaders as well as the demographic. Singapore only achieved developed world status in 1997 so women of that generation aren't as well educated (constraints faced). Their parents probably could not send them for tertiary education in the 50s/60s. I'm sure that in the future, there'll be more women in the cabinet.

  • Things wasn't close to this 10 years ago... But Singaporeans never give up =)

  • lordmchugh, if your ancestors settled in singapore, then why are you not in singapore by you?

yes, food is great like in malaysia and so is the modernity and mix of races.

how much money must an outsider deposit in singapore before he can become singaporean?

how much education must one have and is it easy to find a good job with a good pay.

during yog, notice many foreigners work in singapore.

    are they well paid?

is the living cost expensive like in london, tokyo and new york, dubai ?

  • @ccb41 Yes, living cost expensive, but not to NY's standard. Foreigners (blue collared) not well paid (no minimum salary rule, not a welfare country, no subsidised healthcare). If you have money to invest or have good qualifications, it's pretty darn easy to get a citizenship, it just takes time.

No dual citizenship for Singapore, though.

  • beautiful modern country

  • im malaysian.. singapore feels so close to me.....

  • I am so proud of Singapore. I wish it eternal prosperity until the end of time. Go Singapore!

  • Visitors, Foreigners, Travelers, Students, Investors

STAY AWAY FROM SINGAPORE-Until the government stops human rights abuses and stops Barbaric Floggings of males, Very Sick and Disgusting.

Go elsewhere Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan!!

  • @butterflye2020 Seriously, and I mean seriously, do you have a life? A hobby.. a past time activity? And one that doesnt include condemning Singapore? Every country has flaws, perfections, praises and stuff. You're so anti-Singapore yet you bring up fake news to condemn it. You do realise that u're getting owned with every comment u post right? Singapore is a modern country, the reason there's not much natural life is coz they're TINY. and yet, being TINY, we've gone far and made progress.

  • @VioletStarAzure Any country, and I use that term very loosely with singapore, should be called into question whenever it's government acts in the Barbaric manner in which Singapores dictatorship and lackeys do. What "fake" news are you trying to make up? What natural life are you talking about that I have never discussed? It doesn't matter how "modern" Singapore might be - it is NOT civilised with what goes on here. And, Your comments certainly don't own me, or anyone else for that matter.

  • @butterflye2020 And you call yourself civilised by condemning other people and countries? What are you, some terrorist that got arrested and trying to take revenge? Can you show an example of civilised manner? How would you govern your own country then, by letting all the criminals run free and make it a criminal haven? Do you see barbarians running around in Singapore?

  • @VioletStarAzure No one said anything about letting criminals run free--this is what you are saying in trying to divert attention from what this barbaric government resorts to. Even today in the censored newspaper a man was reported sentenced to sadistic cruelty with six lashes--ABSOLUTELY BARBARIC AND INHUMAN. Yes there are Barbarians running around Singapore. They are LKY and the other millionaire monsters and criminal judges and sadists that Torture men and commit Human Rights abuses.

  • @butterflye2020 mhmm, do you know what the man sentenced has done? Have you gone deeper into researching? Do you know the difference in mass murder, and petty offences? Six lashes is one of the minimum. Other countries have been reported giving to a maximum of 24, and Singapore seldom gives that. This 'barbaric government' has made this country progress from a quiet settlement to a modern country. Singapore is a multi-racial country, and we live in harmony among other races. That's barbaric?

  • @VioletStarAzure I know what the man had "done"- Do YOU?. He possessed a weapon - but what does that have to do with mass murder? How Dare ANY government Torture males - Because they are male-with BARBARIC BEATINGS. It doesn't matter whether it is 3, 4, 10 or 24 lashes Flogging is Inhuman, cruel and sadistic to treat a human being that way. This barbaric government has made Singapore a disgusting viscious police state that is out of control. internet comments do NOT indicate racial harmony.

  • @butterflye2020 It is dangerous to possess a weapon, which is why it is forbidden. That man has made his own decision to break the law, as it is clearly stated. If he didnt possess it, he wouldn't have been punished. Do you know what might happen if he wasn't caught? What if he was a serial killer? A terrorist? Then everyone would be killed. You say how dare ANY government torture males- Do you think Singapore is the only one? There are worse punishments out there thats not even considered in SG

  • @VioletStarAzure This is NOT about any particular crime, because there are over 35 other infractions that include immigration offences, vandalism etc whereby this man would be court ordered Flogged--ONLY BECAUSE HE IS A MALE. There are only a handful of Barbaric nations on this earth where this outrageous practice is not outlawed--Singapore is onle of them! Most First world civilised countries have made this Torture Illegal. Human Rights groups condemn Singapore for this.

  • @butterflye2020 When the government impose harsh punishment on criminals, you said its BARBARIC!

When a criminal rape, murder, rob a victim, isn't that BARBARIC too??! Have you ever utter a single word against the criminals? No!

  • @darrendelong YES IT IS BARBARIC. And you have followed my comments before. I most certainly have never defended actions by any rapist or murderer. But I have said repeatedly that they should be treated as human beings not with cruel and degrading or inhuman punishments. To physically beat people, for whatever the reason, is absolute sadistic abuse.

  • @butterflye2020 When a rapist raped your loved ones or you, who is crueler and who is more barbaric? The punishment he served or his vicious, deplorable action? Think about it. You are probably never a victim of crime since you are so apathetic towards victims of crime. Your compassion are only reserved for the criminals.

  • @darrendelong When someone comes to this city to look for employment and

overstays his visa, there is no question that the vicious Singapore government is Barbaric in court ordering these males to be beaten. I used this example because you are picking out different infractions. This issue is not about a particular crime it is about injustice and about treating a human being inhumnely; it is about a deplorable sadistic system based soley upon legalizing brutal physical violence upon men.

  • @butterflye2020 its barbaric when people do crimes against others such as rape, molestation, robbery and etc. These laws are made not to torture people, it is the punishment for criminals who oppose the law and commit acts of wrongdoings. They deserve the punishment, as they have decided to break the law themselves. You said Singapore is ONE of those countries 'torturing' people. So what are the other countries? Or are you trying to condemn almost every other country too?

  • @VioletStarAzure There are criminals that DO commit Barbaric crimes and a government or authority of nation should act above this savageness. I recognize barbarity when I see it--do you? No matter the intention of the law - Man-made laws can be flawed, do you understand that? Read very closely: ANY COUNTRY (REPEAT ANY COUNTRY) FLOGGING, BEATING, CANING and Physically assaulting to injure or inflict pain upon a human being is WRONG AND BARBARIC. (is that spelled right for you)?

  • @butterflye2020 You said it yourself, Man-made laws can be flawed. And every country has laws made up by man. So you're also saying every country has laws that are wrong? And then how would you punish someone, for example, a serial killer? If he has killed dozens of innocent people, isn't it deserving that he gets the death sentence? Imprisonment may not make criminals learn their lesson, lashings may make them realise of their wrongdoings.

  • @VioletStarAzure I said man made laws CAN be flawed. I did not say that all laws are unjust. I am against the death penalty in any country and especially the horrific MANDATORY death penalty institiutred by this sadistic government. Floggings or lashings are NOT justified EVER. No government has the right to abuse people and that is exactly what the criminals in Singapore do-ABUSE. They should be tried in international court for their evil actions.

  • @butterflye2020 You say we should be tried in international court, while others praise us for being a very safe country. Oh so criminals have the right to hurt people, and not get punished for their actions? Then how should he/she be dealt with? Just imprisonment? Imprisonment may not make criminals learn their lesson. There are many cases out there where ex-convicts have repeated their actions. The govt has the right to do the right thing.

  • The criminal Singapore government has now arrested a 27 year old man for what he WROTE on Facebook remarks. Look at what is happening-a british author is arrested for what he wrote, now this. Is this NAZI GermanY? If these monsters are not stopped more and more people will be arrested, fined, and beaten. SHAME ON SINGAPORE

  • I felt Singapore is so bored.. just another city..

  • I felt so bored in Singapore..

  • The word should be spread more

  • I was forced against my will to join the Singapore army for 2 years when I was eighteen. For being disobedient I was tortured and scarred for life.

    Singapore is a shamefull country.

    Please boycott the Singapore.

  • I was forced into Singapore armed forces against my will for 2 years.

SIngapore pretend it is pro youths but hide the fact that it force its youth into the army for 2 years. Some were tortured badly , like me.

Boycott YOG SIngapore if you have a heart.

  • Whenever i go to another asian country, i always compare it with Singapore, i mean seriously, it took singapore 40 years to accomplish what other countries 100+ years to build

  • I live in singapore...I love it when our country have peace, no hate and no war against the 4 different races...:)

  • I love how Singapore has a multi-ethnic society. Glad that we don't have racial riots. :)

  • How I miss sg I live in old dead london:(

  • @juiced2death lols you london people wish to come to singapore, while we singaporeans want to go and visit your country ! lols, the opposites. london has so many cool architecture that singapore doesnt ! but ofcourse i love my own country :D

  • @VioletStarAzure lol tats where ur rong im singaporean living here for a year cos of my job ;

  • Ppl complain bout how we like our government but u have to know pap gave us our success

  • wow, after watching this video i just started concerning about going to Singapore in the future

  • @somuchsolittleful i'm singaporean, and i couldn't be any happier.

  • @somuchsolittleful Our government is awesome and we are successful. what do you have against Singapore?

  • @fiionaaaa Do you see the censorship. They are removing comments by somuchsolittlefull. There is censorship in Singapore and they don't want you

to see anything negative about this place.

  • @butterflye2020 u fail with this comment; these 'removing of comments' aren't by singapore, its by the owner of this video. And the owner of this video is an International channel that promotes other countries' tourism sites and etc.

  • @fiionaaaa My comments that bear the truth about Singapore are being removed. This is an example of censorship with regard to this government

  • @somuchsolittleful I?m Italian and in Italy is the same, as in America (please don't say no...) and in many other parts of the world. This is not a good thing, I know, but that's it. Singapore is not "more" different.

  • hahaha sg is so awesomeee! singaporean and proud to be one! love you lee kuan yew!!

  • Come, See and Learn

for ... WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY... : )

  • Our Government is the MOST DEDICATED for the WELFARE of SINGAPOREANS...... we live in one Large Beautiful Garden with Very Modern Facilities.

THE WORLD SHOULD BE LIKE SINGAPORE : )

  • @vincentowyong If the world is like Singapore, heaven forbids, there will be no diversity. While Singapore has been commendable in some ways, it's not a perfect model.

  • man, looking at all these compliments about my country, i do feel very proud to be a Singaporean. (:

  • Heys I'm Singaporean and I'm not going to comment on my own country as I'm gonna be biased. But imo the editing, music and directing of this video is awesome!
