Trouble is it costs a ton per head for the 3 days. which isn't bad value for 3 days but I'm not so wildabout most of the other bands on the line up (well, those which I actually know).

Um, except old Hawkwind.

Beautiful Days is a truly great Festival. There's so much going on that it doesn't matter about some of the lesser bands. People happily share their weed, the beer is cheap and the coppers wear spangly wellies and turn a blind eye!

Great band their live set blows most other bands away (even when so drunk they can hardly stand). Plus these guys are the most genuine musicians you'll ever meet - they're always really friendly. The greatest band never to have sold out .... you *REALLY* want to see them live if ever you get the chance...

Yes. They make money. They then spend a lot of that money on good causes and supporting up and coming bands - worth the price of a ticket I think.

Try thinking about the name of the band and the history of that name and I think you'll realize the comment was more than a bit asinine!

The old ones are still often the best, and this one was going for over a hundred years even before the clash got hold of it. Many slight updates, changes of words here and there to keep it relevent, but this version stands up with the best.

I was there. Glastonbury in the early 90's Me mate rich had a bad ankle so had to stay near the mixing deck and marvel at the dancers on the roof. I was at the front - Awesome.
