Campaign looks good, but they honestly should've made a whole new multiplayer experience replicating what it was like in the original Combat Evolved. Importing the multiplayer maps of the original CE feels like a cop out in my opinion, and isn't worth 40 bucks, even if CE has the best Halo campaign to date.

What I think is..if you love the original so much stick with pc CE(it doesn't get more CE than that XD, instead of reach engine..not hating on reach either I play reach everyday and absolutely love it), I thought it wasn't about graphics anyways but gameplay. On the 343 podcast they said that you can play the Halo CE maps in their own playlist and all the reach stuff is it's own thing, although if you own reach already it becomes part of the reach package I'm pretty sure. This would have to do with trying to boost the numbers of people playing reach which is lagging compared to previous games.

@tfot0907 Completely remastered CE campaign with new graphics, skulls and terminals (that have hints for Halo 4) while keeping gameplay COMPLETELY unchanged from the original. 7 multiplayer maps for Reach that are remakes of old favourites, now with Theatre and Forge compatibility. An update changing some of Reach's multiplayer to play like the original Halos. This is a sequel to Reach's Campaign.

And, it will be $40 instead of $60. I think that is pretty amazing, and definitely worth getting.

You can also click the BACK button whenever you want in Campaign and it will revert to "Classic Mode" with all of Halo: Combat Evolved's original graphics; click BACK again and you will go back to the new, beautiful graphics.

The ability to create maps, inject custom content, and modify tags is what keeps the multiplayer from getting bland and repetitive. Modding has allowed online multiplayer to reach new feats with maps such as ColdSnap and HugeAss.

The ability to LAN goes a long way in helping tournaments and local conventions. Just because you don't use it, doesn't mean others don't as well.
