    Did you get any goats?

I see that you wrote your comment 10 months ago......

I started a goat herd, this spring with a Saanen doe, unrelated Saanen buck, Lamancha doe, full blooded midge doe(wife liked it) a mixed breed doe with Saanen stock, and the king of the pasture, a Kiko/Boer cross, whose daddy looked like a small bull.

This way, I can have dairy and meat.

Yes, I bought 4 fullblood boar does & 1 fullblood boar buck.

We are expecting kids feb 2011

  • @barbarapaulson

Well, I think my two Saanen does are now pregnant from my Kiko/Boer buck....

This ought to create some truly monster babies!

  • @ziggy2sound4u

Do u have a website? I would like to see a pic of your kiko/boar buck.

How r u going to tell if ur saanen r pregnant ?

  • @MooreAcres

I do not ave a website, however, my does "look" more rounded(i.e. fatter), with no increase in their feed.....

Also, the does' teats are more fuller, suggesting milk is starting to accumulate.

Of course, I leave Billy in their pen to be sure.........
