yeah, let's get rid of these fuel efficient ships, and buy new ones from Germany that use about 50% more fuel per passenger per crossing than this one!
What the best part of the V class especially the Vancouver been retired is that Sailing times on the Duke Point run will never have to be alterd again due to the slower boat. These boats were best suited for rt 1.
Excellent post! Love the videos of the old ships! I'm going to miss the v-class series. I remember as a kid being on the bridge when my dad's uncle was captain of the Queen of Saanich.
