  • Bravo sir. Great playing love the open G.

  • @spennamac Thank you!

  • Excellent Stuff, some sweet playing,

  • @gowayyadirt Thanks for listening!

  • @Salvatore45Downs Awww, so nice of you to stop by and spam my clip. You're doing a great service.

  • Take a bow my friend. I think you're well passed "trying to learn" this tune. Well done. Flip all wrong with the quality of audio either lol :P

  • Thanks for comment! Much appreciated.

  • Sounded like Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp by Led Zeppelin at the first few seconds

  • It's interesting that you made that connection. Last night I learned Zeppelin's That's the Way which is also played in open G. I ended up using some of the licks from Arthur Mcbride, which worked perfectly.

  • Oops, meant to say Great sound from that guitar, very lively ring to it. Now I'm a Tommy Emmanuel Fan. Check him out here on utube. If you are acoustic guitar fan be prepared for the shock of your life lol. What guitar are you playing? Nice tone to it.

  • Thank you kindly! The guitar is a '99 Santa Cruz OM model in sitka spruce & mahogany. It's a keeper for sure. Wish my ability justified such a wonderful guitar! I'm a TE fan as well. I don't play his music, but I enjoy listening to it. Also love Merle Travis, Chet, Mark Knopfler, Clapton... well pretty much all of em. I'm into rags and acoustic blues at the moment, especially Big Bill Broonzy. Take care

  • Well played. Brady just got better as he got older. I seen him live in Belfast, just him and guitar. He really could make that guitar talk, as they say. Some of the worlds best guitarists go to see him live. Clapton and Van the Man go to see him play.

  • Thank you! I stumbled across one of PB's clips here on youtube some time back - a few years ago I guess. I was immediately hooked. The man is amazing. I sent him an e-mail asking abut his Yamaha and he replied with a nice detailed history of his instruments. Very approachable, talented person is Paul Brady. I'm a fan for sure. I would love to see him play live one day.

  • Nice tune and very well played. I've never heard this before. Thanks!

  • Thank you. Please check out some of Paul Brady's clips. I suspect you'll appreciate his talent. He has recorded some amazing versions of Lakes of Pontchartrain and Arthur McBride. Also check out Richard Thompson if you haven't already - Beeswing and 1952 Vincent Black Lightning for starters.

  • Great tks

  • Thank you for your comment!

  • very nicely played, so smooth!!

  • Pretty song, done extremely well!!!

  • Thanks Jerry!
