to be fair, arizona state played some good football early on in the season, then they tanked. they weren't the same team by the end. usc was still figuring things out early on, but they got things going midway thru. losing to arizona state, in reality it's not that big deal in the big picture. usc had beaten them 11 straight years prior to that. and usc finished 10-2. it was a great season. it was MY best case scenario for this season! very pleased.

Ever since the game in Tuscaloosa, Les has been tailoring this offense to fit Jeffy's style.

@TheDwight93freeney Bama won't be as talented losing players like Upshaw, Maze, Richardson, Kirkpatrick, Barron, and Hightower, but Bama has been top 3 in recruiting the past few years, so they will find someone more than able to fill those key spots. They still have great players like Eddie Lacy and Dee Hart. They also have McCarron coming back for his junior year.
My guess is that bama will be younger, but still have enough talent to win the SEC/BCS Championship

@TheDwight93freeney and btw i would red flag him for his speed, that has nothing to do with being a good reciever. look at guys like hines ward and marcus colston, not very fast still VERY productive and can still get seperation.

It was absolutely excruciating to watch Jefferson trot right back into the game every offensive possession too, but I can't fully blame Les for not pulling Jefferson though. Ever since the game in Tuscaloosa, Les has been tailoring this offense to fit Jeffy's style.

@bsg3003 That's what it was is that what they did to Lee in their matchup @ Bama was why he didn't wanna put him in so LSU was handcuffed.

@TheDwight93freeney I think they didn't pull jefferson in the NC game because Les implemented more option plays and rollouts to match Jefferson's style of play. Lee wouldn't have been able to run that same offense.

@TheDwight93freeney Bama won't be as talented losing players like Upshaw, Maze, Richardson, Kirkpatrick, Barron, and Hightower, but Bama has been top 3 in recruiting the past few years, so they will find someone more than able to fill those key spots. They still have great players like Eddie Lacy and Dee Hart. They also have McCarron coming back for his junior year.
My guess is that bama will be younger, but still have enough talent to win the SEC/BCS Championship

@bsg3003 Arkansas might be able to get in their way but it'll be tough since they're losing Adams, Childs, & Wright @ WR but Petrino is a good coach so he'll develop other to step up & Wilson is back for his senior year.
LSU needs to find a QB that can throw the ball consistenly.

@TheDwight93freeney and btw i would red flag him for his speed, that has nothing to do with being a good reciever. look at guys like hines ward and marcus colston, not very fast still VERY productive and can still get seperation.

@hooti3123 Ward posted career lows this past season & has been surpassed by burners in Wallace, Brown, & Sanders. As for Colston he ran a 4.5 40 @ the combine back in 06 & that's pretty good & yes speed doesn't mean you're a great WR but look @ the best WR in the game now in Calvin Johnson & how big he is but that man can run his ass off.

@hooti3123 Weather if he ran a 4.5 or not to me 40 time doesn't mean much cuz there's players who don't run the 40 well but once they get the ball in their hands they're gone like Jerry Rice for example. He ran 4.8 @ the combine but once the ball was in his hands he got ghost.
