Way to kill your anemone. There is no record of anyone EVER cutting a S. haddoni into four pieces and having ANY of the pieces survive. You have no idea what you are doing. Stop experimenting on live creatures and killing them.
Greedy. That guy had a much better chance if you had only cut it in half. You could then have fragged the halves again after they healed. Why be so greedy?

wow this guy is stupid.... He fragged the carpet anemone when its soo small. To make it worse. He cut them into 4 peices. Carpet anemone rarely live afetr that. If you did you research you'd know. But u just killed them so ncie waste of money. Probably poisoend your entire tank.
We have seen other propagation of carpets which we are eager to try next that is cutting one inch of the carpets' outside radius. then cutting those into pieces, mending them on rocks and supposed to take off well. We shall see. This does not include the mouth at all.
Sorry for the delay. Three out of the four made it. One to my brother which is doing fantastic. And somehow the two bonded back together. Get this, they were on opposite sides of tank. Found each other and bonded into one. Awe true love. The last dissolved.. We scooped out of the tank and the smell was terrible. We will post pics asap. Im assuming the one that died was because our cut was not perfect. Didnt get enough of the mouth included. But this is very speculative.
I'm thinking in a week they all died and probably killed everything in the tank too. Was this an impulse thing? Did you research it before you did it?

theyre prolly all DEAD. you shouldnt propagate carpets. it rarely ever works.
