This is remarkable...I might have guessed that their sweet harmony would lend itself this well to a tune that I'm more used to hearing Patti Page, or Les Paul/Mary Ford, or the Pinetoppers doing. Now I can't stop playing this number when I'm online.

Our local PBS just rebroadcast Welk's 1964 show the other week that had this on it. Totally perfect version by 4 girls with unlimited talent. They remain my favorite girl-group singers of all times. 46 years ago! Wowwww - LG(1946)
There are no voice today with the possible exception of Celtic Woman to compare with the Lennon Sisters. In any time frame they stand alone, god bless them and may America never forget it's sweethearts. Thank u 4 posting :-)
