When i first read the ook, the bit at the beginning i thought was Anna speaking, but it said she killed hersel on her own, which because of the ending makes me think its Kate speaking? Does anybody know who it is?

it's kate. it's inferred b/c, well, as you said, anna dies. also, she's 3 years old. anna was born when she was 3, so it makes sense. plus, she "didn't have a chance against her." if it were anna, i'm pretty sure kate, being 6, could easily have held off a 3 year old.

she was only 3, who knows. a lot of little kids do strange things for who knows what reason. when my mom was little, she was an only child until her newborn brother came home from the hospital. she liked being the only child, so she spent the first 6 months of his life trying to kill him, lol.
