  • You don't seem to go full range of motion on anyof the exercises. Is that how you're doing it? If so, why?

  • Its all wirtten in my avatar. But to give the edited version. Double rototar cuff surgeries. Im blessed that l can do anything with my arms at all.

  • i'm sure by the end you were prolly burned but those declineds needed spotting... great work tho.

  • For sure it was. But it was worth it. Thanks for the props.

  • No problem brother. Its all part of the game. We work with what we can and do the best we can do. Im all good and getting better. Thanks for sharing your comment.

  • Dont wanna be a hater but u've got to go up does are not full reps more like 1/2....

  • Dont worry about it. No hatin allowed..lol. You need to read my avatar. It will explain to you why I do it that way. But thanks for watching and commenting. I am still getting better at this every day. Thanks again and peace bro.

  • My bad man I red your avatarar good job for keepin it up! I'm sure you'll get even better. Peace.

  • impressive endurance but form is terrible on almost every exercise, dips especially....don't like beinng a hater, just my opinion

  • Thanks for the props. You need to read my avatar as to the reason why. Also, I have an updated one from last Friday. I think im doing better. Check that one out. Thaks again.

  • well man all that is mightly impressive after shoulder surgery...well done

  • Thanks alot brother. Now you got it. But its going to get better. Cause im adapting to it now and the pain get less and less. Still limited though. Did you check out the other latest vids and my trainees?

  • @ericito162 Keep it up. Thanks fo the replies. Most peopel delete negative comments.

  • this is a great workout, man! And much creds for doing it all without no breaks! The elevated pushups were sick, impressive set of number my man, and I know this, I do them my self, and they are heavy!

    Keep it up!

  • Thanks alot brother. Yes its alot of work and its intense with the non-stop action. But, its worth it all and the results are phenominal. But, you have to love doing them as we both do, cause they not only build stamina, but also a nice body too. Keep up the great work, cause you totally rock hard too. Thanks again for the props.

  • good job.

exercises were done without break & with good form.

dips should have been done with full range of motion but still good work!

  • Thanks brother. I know about the full range thing. I been getting ragged alot over it. I had double rotator cuff surgery and due to limitations, it not as easy as it was before. However, it is a mission of mine and I will accomplish it hopefully real soon. Thanks for the comment.

  • spartan 300 haha

  • Yea right. I wish I could do that Spartan 300 workout. I probabaly would have a heart attack and die..lol. Its a good condition workout though. One day...Naw.

  • im not talking shit im just asking why dont you go down all the way on the dips (the first set)

  • I like this basic workout!!! Its very effective.

When I'm in a crunch for time, I'll do a "Fantastic Four" with a deck of 52 cards.

Exercises: Pull-Ups (Spades), Push-ups (Clubs), Russian Twist (Diamonds) and Burpees (Heart).

Cards: 2-10=that rep; Jack, Queen and King= 11 reps and the Aces= 15reps.

Its a simple but quick workout that hits most of the muscle and the burpees add a cardio effect. No rest increases the caloric burn.

  • Kind of Greek to me, but it sounds very intense and like it seriously works. I like the way it sounds. Keep me updated. Hopefully I can interpret it to my advantage. Thanks.

  • Pretty simple: its four exercises and you flip the cards to do that # of reps. Each workout is different because they never come in the same rotation.

I always try to do a push, pull, leg and core exercise for each workout! I don't do "Arms Days or Chest Day". Its always compound exercises with no breaks.

  • I got it now. The routine I do that you see in the video is x3-4, with 1 min break in between and done every day. Its very intense but very effective. My reps total approx 500-600 per day. Then I do 1 body part. I like the intensity of your routine. I may give it a try. Thanks.

  • If a person is able to do the full range of motion, they're get the full benefit of the calisthenics. That would apply the full bodyweight on the muscles.

Good job especially not taking breaks!!!! That increases the cardio effect...outstanding

  • Thank you and you are totally right. I just have limited range of motion due to double rotator cuff surgeries some yrs ago. I am still trying to go further, but its not easy asd does involve some pain. I guess its like rehab. Thanks alot for the comments.

  • Great work man just watchin this made me tired!

  • Yes this is very intense, but you get the greatest pump thats last all day. I usually do 3-6 set of these a day. Imagine how I feel after that? Thanks for the comment bro.

  • man wht is calisthenic isa kidn of sport of something

  • With all considered, pat yourself on the back E! Even without full range of motion, most guys cant even do half that workout so good work my dude!

  • Thanks alot bro. I really needed to hear that. I really been trying, but the cuffs keep holdin me back. But im gonna give it a painful shot to go deeper and see it I can make it. If I was still in Bklyn, I would be right ther in Highland Park, to have you all get me right. But seriously, Thank you so much.

  • Double rotator cuff, damn. But I know the feeling. I have a herniated disk and at one point couldn't walk for 3 days so trust me I know the feeling, But keep up the good work because you have to get the full range back to achieve good healthy muscle growth.

  • Wow, a herniated disk is worse. Yes im cool with my routines. I actually have been getting some gains the way I been doing it. But, I will go the next level, but it will be painful. So lets see how that works out.

  • Dude.. your ROM is almost non-existent on all of these exercises.

Cool with the feet-elevated pushups... Pretty pointless on the rest... particularly the 'dips'.

This is the first 'calisthenics' video i've watched which didn't use a full range of motion.

  • Corey, Thanks for the comment. I expected to get thats. However, I am greatful to be able to do any type of calis as I call them. See I had double rotator cuff surgery and I am not even suppose to able to lift anything above my head, and much less my body weight plus. So, I have limitations as to how far I can go up and down, and beleive me I have tried. What I have been able to do so far has benefited me quite a bit. I am not like everyone anymore. I have to create what works for me.

  • But thanks bro, I really appreciate what your are saying, because it is correct way. I just have to do my way at least for now.

  • No problem mate.. I hope I didn't come across as (excessively) harsh.

    I'm curious however:

How is it that you are able to do feet-elevated push-ups to the depth you do, but are unable to do chins through an appreciably equivalent range?

  • No problem bro. I expect to get the criticism. I need it too. See I can go in certain positions, and then others I can't without pain or a wakeup call. I guess it the way the surgery has it places. I am glad that I can train. Some in the same situation never recover. I will try to redue it going a bit deeper and slower. You can then see how it works. Thanks again bro/mate.

  • np mate.

Have you been doing Physical Therapy?

Has your doc/practitioner cleared you for training?

If yes, what stretches are you using at present in the rehabilitative process?

  • Oh bro its been a few years now. My doctor encouraged training even though I never got therapy. I could only use the smith machine with no weight. I was able to get my workout game on in a few months to a year. But I was told I would never have full range motion. I have pushed it some but it has its limits. I do calis/lifting combo because the calis feels good and I do have some motion and the weight help build mass.

  • Gotcha bro.

Props on what you've accomplished thus far.

  • Thanks Corey. Now you understand me now and how it is. I wish it could change but for now I live with it.

  • Yo, great superset workout, very good for the strength and the stamina!!!

  • Thanks alot bro. Yes it is intense and takes alot to keep moving. But its what we build work up the more we do it. I want to do some in the park too soon as I get a warm day. Thanks again for the comment.
