@ranma2chan yes they did. well, sherry lynn did. that's the voice of sasami. the japanese VA came out and sand some of the songs in engrish, twas great.
@Demonbassplayer101 Unfortunately, American voice actors aren't usually that great at singing! There are english versions of some Tenchi songs of course, but they aren't done by the same actors that do the voices of the character in the song.
actually Sharyn Scott did a little gig in Santa Monica and did a duet with Chisa Yokoyama though the songs were only the Tenchi Universe OP and "I'm a pioneer" You could tell how the audience responded to that if you saw the video >>;
IMO I think they both did a great job despite the "enthusiasm" in the room
Oh and by the way, Yuri Amano (voice of Kiyone) is super cute. I wish she was in the 94 concert. She appeared in the 96 one, but I can't find any videos of her song.

The OVA main story finished with the new Ryo-Ohki OVA which had seven episodes.
which makes three OVA series
(the first two are often bundled together)
in the main continuity with the OVA is also GXP which takes place (chronologicaly) after the Ryo-Ohki OVA (which explains further the new character we see at the Tenchi house in GXP)
they are also making another series in the OVA universe which stars tenchi's half brother.

The female seiyuu are dressed like idol singers in Japan (at least back then). Still, it is cool seeing the seiyuu cast. ^_^ Interesting how much English is used in this, since I'm fairly sure this was done in Japan.
