Airplane landing at Midway Airport Chicago IL

its an incredibly short runway. makes for a very fast pull up and extremely fast take off...great ride though...I was a little thrown by the abrupt pull up in May when I travelled there for the first time from Brisbane Australia

i flew into Midway for the first time ever, June of this year. i had no idea that it was going to be such an intense experience! the way that the plane kept circling in closer and you could not see the airport, then you kept getting closer and closer to the rooftops in the surrounding neighborhoods... it was very thrilling!

craig, if i fly into midway, and i have a flight out of ohara, about 5 hours later. is there ground transportion to ohara by bus or train.

Yes Pete there are shuttle buses that run between the airports. Plenty of time for you to get to O'Scare
