It's not voltage you have to worry about it's amperage. The way I understand it the lower the amperage the smaller the particles. If you do not have a constant current generator or other device to control this, as the silver is added and the conductivity of the distilled water increases, the amperage will rise if the voltage remains constant. I am using 1.4ma current and start with 30v but by the end of the process volts will be down to around 5v in order to keep amperage constant.
I've been making it for years. You only need 3 - 9volt batteries. Alligator clips, electrical wire, silver rods, a clean jar, distilled water. Make sure to rinse your jar with the distilled water before filling it. Gallon and 1/2 gallon jars work; more volume, more time. Play it by ear and don't get up tight about it.
The big investment is the silver rods and YES, be sure they are .999 pure silver. Silver Ingots (.999) & .999 coins work too, they are marked.
Hi, I like your process. Very simple and effective. I have a favor to ask however, since you seem like a fart smeller, er smart feller, lol. I, and many others, are getting prepared for the collapse of the U.S. by storing .999 fine silver rounds or coins. It would be a great idea to design a colloidal silver generator which readily allows for the use of these coins to make colloidal silver instead of the silver wire. Would you perhaps explore this idea please? Thanks for the video!
The instructions on the web-link you posted say to use 3 nine-volt batteries, but in your video it appears you are using more batteries. How many batteries should I use? Also, what PPM are you looking for?
I've loaded up my supplies & this will be my first sodering experiment. Wish me luck.
Question for ya, I chose to use a 30volt dc wall jack from radio shack rather than batteries. It's rated for 1000ma. Anyway, when i try making mine, one of the .999 siolver roda develope EXCESSIVE amounts of black , furry silver oxide. If you even tap lightly, the stuff falls off and discolors the mix. What's your take on this? You think the 1000ma is too much? I know it generates some oxide but i havent seen other vids get this much.
After studying colloidal silver production for many years i tested the output of solar garden lights and they give out an pulsing output voltage from about 4 v to 8 volts depending on model. So go out and buy the cheapest garden solar light cut one of the leads of the led bulb + attach the 2 silver rods spaced 3 cm apart and insert in water.it is really that simple. You will get a visual indication of current flow when you put it in water.

Man! I cant get the same result as you. I have duplicated the set up with everything, even the same wire (except 12ga and im not using a light bulb in the circuit). I get some slow forming bubbles on one wire, but on the other side, I cant get the gray cloud of silver like you have falling to the bottom. :(
@Just1Spark I apologise. I think I figured it out. My water just wasnt conductive enough. I pulled the wires out, cleaned them, and put them back in, but first stirring the water for a second run. Its now working better (faster).
They are fighting to CONTROL YOU "MORE" with the FOOD.. ever hear "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT"?? Why is there such an INCREASE IN DIABETES AND OBESITY?? That's a major attribute to "HIGH FRUITCOSE CORN SYRUP. But they will fight it, they "lie" (like what else is new).
why do they say it shouldn't be cloudy? i use the sota instrument and pure silver rods and de-ironised water and still i get slightly cloudy like this..
Does anyone know how much current is needed at 36 vdc? I want to use an ac adapter instead of batteries, since I plan to make large batches and 9 volts are not cheap. I can make a current controller using a LM338T transistor, usually intended as a voltage regulator, but also can be used for current control. Hit me up if anyone has some info, thank you and killer video man!
@Tarantula604 AC to DC is what I meant. I was mainly curious about the current, but that is dependent on how dirty the water is and how much silver particles end up in your batch. I've nailed it down to something like .01 millamp at 30-36vcd. No need to current control it.

If you happen to have a laser pen handy you can shine it through Distilled water and then your colloidal solution and you will see the difference. If you can get a solution of known density then you can get in the ball park. Don't any great precision with this
Have you calibrated the amount of surface area of the silver with the volume of water? Any variance in this would affect the concentration of collodial silver, right?
Thanks, lostasyou, this was very helpful and informative. Though I am curious, does this method produce true "colloidal silver" or ionic silver? Judging from the sinking particles I want to say this is colloidal. Though as I am not a chemist I hardly feel qualified to make that call. My research reveals strong evidence that "ionic silver" is essentially useless as the ions bond with the chlorine in our bodies to create silver chloride. So my question: Is this a "colloidal" or "ionic" product?

yes a distillation video would be neat. ESPECIALLY if you could show a variety of methods. Not just a stove but solar ....Fresnel lens if you can find it. Your know multiple methods. :D
i would love it if you could post a video showing how you distill your water i have been trying to figure out a simple homebrew way of doing it for a long time now .
This is because the dosageing has to do wih the health condition in whcih your takin the colloidal silver for. People with AIDS should take 35- to 40ppm one full cup + or more per day, a person with a rash usually of any kind would take 10 to 15ppm twice per day. A person with the common cold takes 10-15 ppm one or twice per day depending on how bad it is. A daily maintenence does every day is 5ppm just to maintain a good immunity. Hope this helped you.
for those who cant sotter, you can stick the 9 volts together, and buy double ended alligator clips from radio shack. So then all you have to do is attach the clipsto the atteries and then to the wires. I make it like this, but there many ways you can do it.
8. ) I have seen other instructions that say to heat the water before the process. Do you know why they do this? Is it necessary or beneficial?
9.) What is the shelf life of Colloidal silver if stored properly in dark or darkened containers? Are there any containers that are not acceptable for storage?
Store your Colloidal Silver in dark, non-conductive (and if plastic, non-reactive) containers
7. ) Other than the hydrogen peroxide bottles you mention, how do you know what plastic containers are non-reactive? Is glass good? Will any residue from whatever was previously in the container effect the colloidal silver? Is rinsing good enough or should detergent be used to clean storage containers?
Pour eight ounces of water into your glass. Add 1 or 2 drops of saline solution (3 drops at the most; if you use too much salt, you'll be making silver chloride instead!) to distilled water and stir with a plastic/non-conductive utensil.
5. ) I have seen some making colloidal silver a gallon at a time in the jug. How do you adjust the time and saline for this amount? Is 16 drops per gallon (128 oz) a correct equivalent to 2 drops per 8oz in the context of this process?
I made some this same way. Although yours was pouring down the silver off the lead faster, mine ended up a bit cloudy and not clear. I see many vids where it stays pretty clear and even gets a yellowish tint to it.
Thanks for watching Mark. Though I didn't actually boil the water when I make the silver, I do distill it.
I use a small pot with the lid upside down, a small glass bowl inside the pot, about 1 inch of water in the pot and the lid to the pot is upside down and filled with water. With me so far? In addition I have a small computer fan, run on a car battery, blowing across the top. The water turns to steam, collects on the inverted lid, cools and dribbles into the glass bowl. Viola! good luck.

Also, that by connecting the batteries one to another by the tops(without wires) negative to positive and they will generate the same voltage. Is this acceptable?
Would the process work if the silver itself were attached exclusively from the battery and into the water?
@marktakacs No, you, "easiest" buy DISTILLED water (LIKE FOR INFANTS), there are Distilled water makers around $199- $299 +/- Look on internet (BEFORE GOVERNMENT DISALLOWS "THAT") THE "steam from boiling water is "distilled water"..
