I Recorded This Record With Sly Slick And Wicked For Epic Sweet City Records In 1979 With John Wilson Andrew Scottie Pittman R.I.P. Jerome Pratt AKA Ronnie Canada
@Musicmellow You're very welcome John, but it was actually played when new at Blackpool Mecca and only took off again at Thorne (Yorkshire) in the mid-90s. Hoping you're getting some kind of benefit from it anyway! It's a great side.
Oh my...this is such a nice song. I never hear it before. This should have been a big hit. Very nice even for today's artists. If a big artist re-record this tody, it would be a big hit.
Re-issueing the song is a possibility. However, the master would have to be licensed as well as the mechanical license use. Is the group still around? It could be good for an oldies compilation.
No idea, but this record is quite well known and popular on the UK "Rare 70s Soul" scene - I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't been reissued already!
Dunn Pearson Jr. produced it? I didn't know that. I was chatting to him only last week via YouTube! haha!
Very easy listening on the ear & soulful - thanku!

Why not just re-issue the original? - it's far better than any of today's lame artists could probably manage!
