i have lived in many states right now i play for a school in alabama and i have played in jersey texas and virginia and by far texas high school play is ten times more intense not saying other states suck that kid is very good and hits like a truck but over a quarter of division 1 starting quarter backs are from texas and the spread was made in south carrol hugh school which is in texas and texas puts out more division 1 players then any other state no offence just saying texas is intense

I'm from Southern Louisiana and this is how I know Texas boys are full of shit. Finally UT has a decent season and you swear you've dominated divison I for a decade. Everyone from Texas is like this " ol things are way better here, I mean everything is, woman, barbque, cowboys and football!" I played at Mcneese St where 65% of the players were from Texas and maybe 4 started. LSU's program has been much more successful over the past decade and I think we beat yall in baseball.. So when this kid is plpaying high school, cody paul will still be just a little league legend. He's to small to play JV or Varsity, thats why you haven't seen any video from this year. This little dude is great. Check out 8 year old Cameron Burnette. He ran for over 2,100 yds and 34 tds in only 8 games, Plus he doesn't play in a scrub league.

like i said before, defense is where he shines. it is really hard to predict how good he'll be once he's older, but i think he has that football mentality. you can tell because he already has good technique.

also, of course i cant predict how fast he'll be in the future, but he has mental speed, as in being able to diagnose the situation and sprint full speed to wrap the runner up. good luck to the little guy, and i hope he joins the chargers someday :D

As everyone has mentioned this is a natural linebacker. Can't wait to see some high school, college videos in the future. I love how he plants his feet and drives through the tackles and on offense he shows his sign of a DEFENSIVE beast. He cant cleanly run through tackles and that could turn out to be a great thing as a LB by avoiding blocks. Awesome video. Keep up the hard work!
