Your cat is just gorgeous! A really nice cut too! My white main coon had her lioncut today and she isn't too pleased. I wish they had done the tail like yours, but instead she is left with a naked tale on the around the middle due to an irritation, so she looks a bit odd. But in our eyes still stunning of course ;D

we had a stray cat we took in and he had really badly matted fur on his back, impossible to brush out, so we got him a lion cut and he looked so funny and you could tell he felt rediculous looking that way. They had to put him under to do it and he came home all woozy and was trying to drink water but kept dunking his face in. But it grows out pretty quick and it must have felt much better to have all that matted fur gone.

i just adore maine coons, it your albino or just white? I had an albino siameese kitty but we had to give him up due to the fact he had kidney problems and at the time my cat now was just born and we were afraid he would attack his kittens. I miss my MelMel :-(

@yinching19 : that summer, it was really hot and poor samson was burning up. we giggled at him alot at first, but the way he reacted to the cut told me he loved it. He walked proudly and it was obvious, he beat the Texas heat. But then again, Sam was always a weirdo when it came to his personality.

It must help a cat keep cool in the hot summer months. Also, if a cat has a bad flea problem, having them shaved by a good pet groomer might be of help. cute kitty:-)

I'm a groomer. It's a myth that animals are cooler without their hair. Your cat will actually be hotter in the summer when shaved. I think it is fun to give a cat this haircut, however I don't condone it.

"nyana84" Perhaps he might look better, but then again, some 'parents' don't brush their cat's long hair and it becomes ratty looking. I say, this is an alternative, and it ain't all that bad . . . kinda sorta! It helps that Samson is REALLY handsome anyway.
