  • I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE MUTHA FUCKIN STEAKS, ON THIS MUTHA FUCKIN PLATE.

  • mythbuster should do a SPecial Cooking Myths ! like, this myths : " can you cook a whole turkey with incendiary bullets ? "

  • Isn't that pretty much what a pressure cooker already does just with less pressure??

  • Oh my god. I want steak so bad now ._.

  • my meat will have to get wet to prove many points... bow chicka wow wow

  • i saw the meat shrink...maybe they need to add skin

  • adam just loves to do that with ear phones at 2:36 :D

  • Hmmm... When they released the pressure, I did see the steaks compress in size slightly.

  • This motivated me to make a potato battery. :p

  • well there's no blood / gas transport going on in a steak so why would it?

all your doing with the benz is storing pressurized gas in your cells then releasing it later as there is no storage of pressurized gasses going on here, just external force

  • i wanna hear him say COOKIE!

  • When you get the bends its because nitrogen gets into your flesh through the lungs then the blood. The steaks have been detached from to lungs and there is no blood, so of course it wont work.

  • Stakes on a Plate... get it?

    Ha...ha...ha...

  • mickey adam 2:38

  • I had a wicked case of gassy meat earlier...

  • i got hungry...

  • At 2:20 you can hear Adam's voice echo echo echo cho cho o

  • I like this episode is it amazing what they can do with the meat...wow.......

  • they should do that pork coke maggot myth.

  • @tracemaster100 i think they did on once of the episodes

  • it got smaller when he released the pressure

  • Adam looks a bit like Pucca with those ear plug thingys on his head. =P

  • Steaks on a plate sounds like a spoof of Snakes on a Plane...

  • who doesn`t like mythbusters? (without my grandmother)

  • Adam, you're a tool.

  • Jaime still has to look at his dive tables?

    For shame! lol

  • @Schiminator

safety first, you can become complacent

  • 5:00 Jamie says: "Nada"? O.O it's an Portuguese Word(i think it's a Spanish word too)

I think it's not the first he says "Nada" xD

Somehow i feel proud of my language xD

Note: Every single MythBusters Fan should search in google maps: "M5 Industries" :D

  • snakes on a plane 2: steaks on a plate

  • they better have eaten that meat

  • @Narutoer321 The movie was Little Nicky, and the actor was Adam Sandler. but I see where you are coming from

  • Took me a while to figure out what "the Bends" are, but yes, cooks do use pressure cookers to tenderize meat. But that involves liquids and steam pressure. Don't know why they tried this but....who cares...it's fun and they get paid to do it. XD

  • The bit where Adam was wearing the earphones... it reminds me of a movie i saw on tv... where this guy his father is satan and his mother is an angel and oh yea the actor was Ben Stiller... and Adam reminds me of the boob headed guy from hell...

  • @Narutoer321 little nicky

  • Thnx

  • its Adam sandler actually not ben stiller

  • That was "Little Nicky"...can't really say that he does though :)

  • Lol why did they tried that? The effect happens in your blood, if you go down to deeps like 50m(5 atm), the nitrogen will become soluble in blood, so when you come up fast, bubles are formed, and you gotta remenber that most of our blood runs on the brain, so any buble can cause an stroke, or damage to well circulated organs like liver and the lungs.

There is not enough blood in that meat to form bubles.

  • he loves that tool:p heehee we have that tool! any air compressor tool makes life easier:p

  • yes well i could also google it and know what it is without needing a doctor.

  • amazing little pressure chamber, could you test more inside of it? and how many pressure can it handle? tests some more objects inside at the max pressure it would be very interessing! and for the myth, at 3:10, when the pression is released, imagine on a human body! i guess thats why they wait 4 hours in a pressure chamber when they descresing the pressure little by little.

  • FYI who gives a shit if you're a doctor, everyone knows what the bends are.

  • should have given a cow the bends?

  • Lebongout: You hate them because the myths YOU believe are BUSTED. That or you don't like seeing REAL stuff.

  • LOL if you like thinking I'm being controlled by media learn to think. I'm not. I don't even watch TV stupid.

  • @DeltaPhi79 you're right, one way to enjoy mythbusters is don't believe in myths.

  • @DeltaPhi79 there's quite a few like him out here. that can't bear to see their beloved beliefs busted. the "moon landing hoax" crackheads, for example.

  • @HappyDiscoDeath They are showmen. There are far better and more conclusive ways to prove they are false, but they go for the most showy example they can come up with. That bugs some people and it bugs me from time to time. However I like seeing explosions far to much to say I dislike the show.

  • @manaman70 even simply pointing out that the myths have been busted gets just about any conspiracy nut riled up... they're a really fussy bunch

  • @HappyDiscoDeath You should check out Mythbusters Busted. An idiotic video made by a moon hoax nut, whom I have had an interesting discussion with. Well I should say one sided discussion as he has waffled from asking me to prove him wrong, to insulting me after I offered an easy explanation to the apparent discrepancy he notes. It's been fun but I don't expect a response anytime soon.

  • @manaman70 I actually had a discussion over the past couple weeks with a hoax nut who believes that NASA killed the Apollo 1 astronauts to cover up something. I posted a comment saying otherwise, and the guy flew off the hook, going from insults to asking me (countless times) to prove that the moon landings were real. I explained the flaws in the moon landing hoax many times, but he didn't listen, even going so far as to insult Mythbusters, calling them, "Propoganda Moron Jews." brilliance.

  • @HappyDiscoDeath check the video "Apollo 1" and look for comments made by 2nasafakedit. this guy is something else. I have presented the facts countless times, and instead of any sort of defense he just rips on me (apparently I'm a brainwashed monkey) or the facts. this sort of person won't listen to anything but half-baked theories.

  • @HappyDiscoDeath You know when someone has lost an internet argument when they stop arguing the topic and start making personal attacks.

I got into a post-war with a guy on another vid and his big insult was I misspelled "Dragon" in my username. I was like, "wtf, dude? What does that have to do with anything? Besides, I did that on purpose." He stopped replying after that lmao!

It's always fun when logic and facts destroy trolls, isn't it?

  • @Dargonhuman ditto. most people say that you should ignore trolls, but it's loads of fun getting them riled up when they are presented with cold hard facts (and logic) or they decide to use the person's username as a flimsy target. I found one like that earlier, attempting to rip on a video of a cat drinking from a dripping faucet. there were plenty of "troll fail" comments directed at him, I added to this, he lashed out with a really bad attempt at abuse, I pointed out the holes in his argument

  • @HappyDiscoDeath ...and I haven't heard from him since. I must admit, it's rather satisfying finding a troll and twisting their argument so that it backfires. they love ripping on random people, but they sure don't like when it happens to them!

  • @DeltaPhi79 amen to that!

  • @DeltaPhi79 I LOVE THIS FUXKING SHOW!!!

  • @DeltaPhi79 there's a sub-breed of troll; the conspiracy troll. question their "omnipotent" knowledge, and they fly off the hook, slinging random insults. lampoon the cheesy insults, and they really lose it. I love when a troll's efforts backfire and they get a taste of the bitter crap that they so love to dump all over! they love to spread it, but they sure can't take it!

  • this episode will be on tonight at 21:00 in norway

    :))))))))))))

  • jeg så det, men jeg skjønner ikke vitsen med en comment for det

  • Ya if this was really worked so well it would be easy for beef processors to do. They could turn normal cuts into premium more tender cuts (Same cut just more tender) and charge for it..

  • They probably already do.

  • wtf like a butcher is going to carry a compression chamber around

  • @Shaniac1138 a butcher wouldnt have to carry it around, he'd just have to set it up in shop and use it when he wants

  • @Shaniac1138

    I do.

  • @Shaniac1138 what a troll...lol

  • @Shaniac1138 I would.

  • Several other common gas mixtures are in use, and all need specialized training. The increased oxygen levels in nitrox help fend off decompression sickness, however below the maximum operating depth of the mixture, the increased partial pressure of oxygen can lead to oxygen toxicity. To displace nitrogen without the increased oxygen concentration, other diluents can be used, often helium, when the resultant mixture is called trimix

  • For some diving, gas mixtures other than normal atmospheric air (21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, 1% trace gases) can be used, so long as the diver is properly trained in their use. The most commonly used mixture is Enriched Air Nitrox, which is air with extra oxygen, often with 32% or 36% oxygen, and thus less nitrogen, reducing the likelihood of decompression sickness. The reduced nitrogen may also allow for no or less decompression stop times and a shorter surface interval between dives.

  • you've never eaten steak before as in beef, red meat? are you nuts?

  • 330 ft!! There is no NDL (no decompression limit) at that depth. At 130 it's only like 4 minutes!

  • Theoretically there might not be, but there rig is not perfect so the pressure equilibrium they can achieve with the air hose has a limit.

  • i dont get people..why do your comments have negatives? :S

  • Same reason yours do. They are, in one way or another, linked to someone else's comments that have alot of thumbs-downs as well.

  • thats stupid, he didnt even say anything stupid or offensive..idk why they gave him thumbs down in the first place lol

  • Meh, that's youtube for ya... :-/

  • the meat needs to be submerged and they need

to apply gasses like divers apply to keep

    breating underwater.

  • uhm... pressure is pressure, and the only 'gasses' divers use is oxygen..

the benz is caused by nitrogen already in your blodstreem expanding rapidly after de-pressurization.

  • Not true. On deeper dives, helium is mixed because at high pressures, a normal concentration of oxygen becomes toxic.

  • And they dont use only oxygen in the normal Scuba dive bottels. They use compressed air only

  • Well, it isn't like they're going to give a living thing the bends.
