thank you very much for your nice words.

PA588 is nice thing - good for piano players, has real-weighted keyboard, is arranger oriented. Nice for home or studio music. For realtime performance is as for me suitable. This instrument is quite heavy, so it is not suitable to be taken everyday to other places.

As for me it has quite nice price/performance rate.

Unfortunately I cannot tell that piano sounds much better than on Roland FP7. I dont know even if it sounds better. Piano sound you can hear in one of my videos, for example Snowstorm... As for me it sounds nice.

MIDI files - well I could send you them, but they should be played on KORG MIDI pattern I suppose, it means in reality they dont sound nice, cuz for example - percussion from Korg will be replaced with other instrument on standard midi pattern and you will hear strange sounds :)

About accompaniment, yes I try to play and save accompaniment first, then main voices, but sometimes it goes another way...

I noticed you're using a Korg PA 588 and i'm hesitating to buy this piano or a Roland FP7.

The arranger function and the number of sounds are a plus for the korg, but i'd like to know your opinion on the good and bad aspects of the PA588.

Is the main piano sounding really good compared with a Roland one ?

Are others sound like bass,saxo or harmonica

good enough ?

What are your main critics about this keyboard ?

do you record first the accompanyment and play along it ?
