I liked the way you presented the "friends that never talk". It kinda fitted the way they reacted at the very least hehe. Well, they didn´t zone out anyways... even though one might think so. I bet their thoughts would be something like this : "What ARE we doing here and are we going to something? No?" or maybe : "I´m just standing here as background color..."
