seeing in how they take any risk out of it before hand, these guys are bascally just trying to show how fast they are. Why don't they take up Kendo or something and leave those snakes alone? Waste of an idiot's time for public enjoyment.
Well most of the venom has already been removed so the viper dont have enough venom to kill the person. There are also medical teams and antivenoms on standby in case anything happens.
It's not about stupidity, this is a third world country, unfortunately they have to do dangerous things that entertain tourists to put food on their families table.

I hate these freaking things...
And like Fuursie said I hope they get bitten, I hope they dont! When more people die from venoumous reptiles the laws will be strickter..
And I plan to own venoumous snakes.
