I must say; I never thought I would become teary eyed due to a song ANY song! Well; it just happened.. I have served 30 years of my 49 years of life in the U.S. Armed forces (Marine Corps Force RECON, Navy - Blue Water, Navy - Naval Special Warfare Devlopment Group (DEVGRU) I have been there and done that - MANY TIMES OVER. I have been shot, fragged and survived an F'd up HAHO CJ; never shed a tear. Brandi's demonstration of love & kindness & I am still drying my eyes! AMAZING!

How does she know all the words? - the album that "wasted" was on wouldn't have been out for another year and a half or so. I know BCB sang it live at shoes before this, but still.. just wondering. Great memory for Zoe, Brandi, and, likely, all the people there.

"Wasted" was on Brandi's very, very first album that she produced independently, called "We're Growing Up" released only in Seattle in 2003--very rare CD that sold for ~$700 on Ebay recently. I actually like the 2003 version better than the one on her new album.

It looks like the Easy Street in West Seattle, WA. They usually brocade off the restaraunt at the back like that and folks hang out in the record aisles while the band plays in the middle.
