@xstr33tr4cerx True, but to build a really good NA motor for this car, it'd cost me around $10-12k. I looked into it haha. Talking about all new internals, IRTB's, port/polish, plus the labor (I'm not very good mechanically, and certainly wouldn't spend all that money on parts only to not know how to make them work together reliably), ECU and tuning... Or ~5-6k and have a Flyin' Miata turbo kit with all the goodies and make 250rwhp. Choices, choices!
@TacoChino yah your right but if you do it yourself youd save a lot of cash. and i hate turbo kits cause most come with a cheap cast manifold internal waste and a max boost of like 8-10 psi for a good reliable turbo setup youd blow the same or more cash on it and i love pissing people off with my loud exhaust. :)
@xstr33tr4cerx Yeah, true haha +100 for loud exhausts. I bought this exhaust because it's effing loud and street legal so I KNOW my neighbor who called me a chink hates me now. :D That and I'd say it helps keep minivan drivers aware that I'm right next to them.
@oozer23 lol! Cars are easy if you start with easy stuff and work your way up. The hardest part is dealing with bolts and other fasteners that break because the car's old and rusty lol. What kind of car does your cousin have?
