  • No we wont. We have enough understanding of physics that we know perpetual motion IS implausable. Its the basic law of conservation of energy. 100% efficiency does not and will not exist. In terms of achiving a very efficient alternative energy source, scientists havn't looked at perpetual motion in a long time. Now the focus is on fusion.
