    Blessings from Sweden.

  • I am from America new found to the orthodox faith I am proud to be your brother in christ I am Hispanic not too many of us in the orthodox faith but I will do my part in making disciples and grow the church..Proud yet humbled by the lord that he has directed my footsteps to orthodoxy.

  • This is the most beautiful and divine interpretation of the The Lord's Prayer.Every time I'm listening , it gives me tears in my heart.Greetings from a romanian orthodox christian.God bless all the christians orthodox!

  • That's very nice.

  • Hello. Can you please send me this prayer.

    Thank you. God Bless you

  • I love all the white drawings of Jesus. Just saying.

  • This is so beautiful and, unfortunately, forgotten. I firmly stand on Jesus, my Eternal Lord and Savior. He was raised a PALESTIAN JEW in 1ST CENTURY ANNO DOMINI. He lived comitting NO sin, DIED a horrific death at GOLGOTHA, and was RESURRECTED, now sitting on HIS throne in heaven! My God is an amazing, incomprehensible God with a love that has NO bounds! I LOVE YOU YESHU' MSHEHO!!!

  • Who is this saying the prayer and can it be found on MP3 formatting?

  • well the reconstitution of the proto-semitic language the language of our ancestor to all of us the Semitic people, the research result was that Arabic is the most conservative of all the living Semitic languages, Arabs lived free from foreign influences in the desert, who is crazy to occupy the desert !

so there is a lot of alteration due to foreigns in Aramaic, Syriac, Hebrew and new sounds ! like the P and the V, and vowel shifting ! from long A to long O ! (Shalom must be Shalam at least)

  • picked up some of the words since I speak arabic, very interesting to see all the similarities (both semitic languages so that's to be expected)

I am a muslim and it is very similar to our Surah Fatiha prayer, basically asking the same things and stating the same things. It is nice to hear our brother christians have a similar prayer.

  • @chaosbringer127 The Lords Prayer is the Prayer that Jesus Christ taught us himself to pray always.

  • Good prayer. Note that it is way close to the main prayer (and surah) of the Holy Qor'an. Please do try a comparison. Obvious that the light comes up from the same source, just like it is seen that the languages (ancient syriac/aramaic/arabic) are very close.

  • i speak arabic i can catch a couple of words

  • Русские тоже поют эту ПЕСНЮ великого УЧИТЕЛЯ.

  • Syriacs are the best, FUCK THE REST

  • @izmargda Right attitude when it comes to prayers and the teachings of Christ, don't ya think?

BTW, I'm being sarcastic, don't know you you'd catch up or not.

  • the father of us the one in the heavens is was and will always be infinitely good eternally

  • what a blessing it is to see this video..!! Praise be to the Lord almighty..

  • beautiful song, wish you all the best!

  • ودي اعرف بس ..

شلون عرفتوا شكل (عيسى عليه السلام ) ؟؟

  • @silkcityq8 The Holy Shroud (الكفن المقدس) and the Mandalin (المنديل المقدس) ya a5i.

We dont believe in Issa, we Believe in Jesus Christ (The Image of God the Father in flesh) whom is called "The Son".

  • May the Lord bless the Coptic Orthodox and the Syriac Orthodox churches and all other churches. May they all become ONE

  • This is wonderful! So, so moving. Thank you!

  • ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I was raised ian an Antiochian church and i always just heard the Lords Prayer in Greek an english but i yearned for the aramaic.A true blessing to me.AWESOME THANKYOU for this beautiful video. Perfect. Peace and God bless from an Antiochian in the US.

  • ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL...I was raised in an Antiochian church and I always heard the Lord's prayer in Greek and English. But i always yearned for the original aramaic. This is truly a blessing for me and an answer from God. A true blessing..AWESOME..THANKYOU FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO...PEACE AND GOD BLESS FROM AN ANTIOCHIAN IN THE US.

  • Over the past few months, I have been thinking about the words of the Lord's Prayer in English. As a Christian in the United States, I have known no other language. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video in your language. I have been carefully listening and praying with yours and some of the other videos using aramaic dialects. Thank you again. Peace be with you and all of our sisters and brothers in Christ.

  • So deeply moving and this prayer resonates within me so very much. Blessings upon all who hear it.

  • Every time I watch this holy prayer-song and the sacred images of beseeching believers,I am on my knees with outstretched hands to heaven.

O! kind and loving father, light my (0.57) flickering candle and enable me to see the light of your face!!!

jOIN US TOO TO PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME. AMEN.

Say with us his name Yeshu' Msheho.

    ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ

  • you mean, 2 millenaries ;)

  • @suryoyoono I agree.

  • @suryoyoono The oldest form of Aramaic came 1100 BCE. Which means 3 millenia.

  • @suryoyoono

pride is to sin... nothing to be proud of.

  • @xxAtrinxx I disagree with you. There are different kinds of pride. This pride that suryoyoono has is wonderful.....in an age when a lot of people feel scared or ashamed to be Christians, I am glad there are people out there who are proud to say YES I BELIEVE and I AM PROUD TO BE A BELIEVER!!!!

  • @priscamolotsi

You can agree or disagree. I am not the one who decided that pride was sinful. Jesus said pride was sinful. Now you can agree or disagree with him :)

  • @xxAtrinxx you are too simplistic. There are different types of pride. The type of pride which is warned against in the Bible is a pride that denotes arrogance. Pride whereby one identifies with the goodness of something is wonderful. Delight and elation in being a Christian is NO SIN.,Please check the definition of pride before taking the Bible so literally!

  • @priscamolotsi

that is your opinion. No mater what kind of pride we are talking of then pride will always mean that what you have or yourself is better than another. Since we are all equal, this is the correct way of understanding it... according to me :)

  • @xxAtrinxx My oh my...! You sound like a very morbid and depressed person, there are colours other than blue, black and grey in this world. I also deduce that you are NOT familiar with languages and how meanings can get lost in translation. I highly recommend you read the wonderful book, "Prayers of The Cosmos (meditations on the Aramaic Words of Jesus)". Biblical translations have lost the original intellectual, meatphorical, and universal meanings. Ponder on the meaning of pride, please.

  • @priscamolotsi

well maybe im not 100% enlightened at this topic but can u stop making conclusions on what kind of a person i am :) ?

u dont know if i got any knowledge in languages.. in fact i do. I read and write arabic, russian, danish, german, english, aramaic. And i have knowledge of how languages behave. Greek.

  • @xxAtrinxx Wonderful. I stand corrected as far as my language remark is concerned. I'm actuall quite envious (please don't tell me this is a sin), this is not a negative envy, what I mean to say is I have always wished to master Arabic but never have been able to. I am fluent in a few languages and I think it is great that you are fluent in so many diverse ones!

  • @priscamolotsi

You are right about the fact that many of the words in the Bible have lost their meanings. But how should i know all of them :) ? The Bible itself was written in a lot of languages.. Mainly Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek. All the words we have from Jesus are written in Greek. So how do u know that the translations form Greek to the Peshitta Aramaic kept the real meanings? Dont get me wrong.. im sure most of the words got their real mening.. but yea :)

  • @xxAtrinxx Please do read the book I recommended, I am sure you will appreciate it. On page 5 it states, "In all the religions of humankind, the sacred teachings have always been written down in the language of the founder. There is no question that Jesus and his llowers spoke Aramaic. The gospel was writtn first for the Jews and the "lost sheep of the house of Israel" who were also Arama speakers"

I'll continue the quote in another post.

  • @xxAtrinxx This is the continuation:

"Not a Word of either the Old or the New Testament was originally written in Greek or any other European language. The theorty that Jesus' teaching was first recorded in Greek was undoubtedly prompted by anti-Semitism. Further, the prejudice toward Greek versions of the Gospels as "most suthoritative" recapitulates the general ignorance on the part of "civilized man" for hundreds of years".

    End of quote.

  • @suryoyoono we are Egyptian Coptic Orthodox & Proud of our Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch...

& don't forger to say Antioch, coz ur people was the first people believe in Jesus Christ :)

  • YES! Amen! Thank you for keeping this beautiful language alive! God bless you all and prosper the Syriac Church more than imaginable!

  • @suryoyoono its not kept alive for two century more than that..................

we Syrian Christians in India baptized by St Thomas

had a long fight with the Portuguese invaders to keep the tradition alive...........

    praise be to the lord.....................

may god help the syrian people in saving the Antioch -an liturgy ..........

  • @suryoyoono OVER TWO MILLENIA NOT TWO CENTURIES AND YES WE ARE PROUD OF YOU AND WE ADMIRE YOUR DEVOTION AND GOOD WILL., THANK YOU!

  • @suryoyoono Over 2 CENTURIES!!!??!?!?1??!?!!?!?1? WOW!!!

You mean from 1700 and something till now??

    Gosh, that is something.

You are not the ones who kept the language alive.

    Relax.

  • @TheAburbi Why so arrogant? That was a typo. Two millennias, actually.

  • @zsoltsandor83 Yeah well anyway it's not the language Christ used, and it wasn't preserved because of you.

  • @TheAburbi Actually it was and is a modern form of the ancient language Christ used and it was because of us it was preserved, Europe and America have watched the slow and painful extermination of Assyrian/Syrian Christians and they did shit all to protect our people and our language.

  • @Atouraya2165 Just as you said, it's a modern form - it's not really that much similar to the one Christ used.

And either way, the Armaic version used in the Talmud is more similar to the one Christ used, and Orthodox Jews are responsible for keeping this language alive, since most of them know a great deal of it.

So you kept Syrian alive, sure, but that's not the same language.

  • @TheAburbi To me Aramaic is Aramaic either way, who exactly taught the Orthodox Jews to speak Aramaic, it was the Assyrian/Babylonians that did.

  • @Atouraya2165 Partly true, but Jews spoke Aramaic way before the exile to Babylon, think of Christ - he lived in Israel some decades before the exile - and he spoke Aramaic. That's because it was a popular language back then, in Israel and Babylon alike.

  • @TheAburbi

the book of Daniel was partially written in Aramaic

  • @threecards333 That's right.

  • @suryoyoono I think you mean a millennium(:

  • @suryoyoono Thank you so much for blessing us in America with this prayer. Yes we can be ignorant at times but this deeply touch my heart. When I heard about the attack in Iraq on the brothers in the Syriac Othodox church, I wept. It grieves me to see suffering and I love you!

  • May God bless our brothers the Syriac Christians.

And thank you for sharing this beautiful video.

  • Amin. Thanks for this beautiful video!

  • Gänsehaut... wirklich sehr schön gemacht! Vielen Dank!!

  • just perfect

  • this is so beautiful in Syriac. thnk you for posting this, it is truly beautiful, and well-made video. may more people come to know and believe in Jesus Christ, and know His peace.

  • Not that God is an egomaniac, that needs worship; the worship of God is not for God's own benefit, but to bring communities together, and instill a sense of humility.

I seriously doubt God cares for worshipers THAT much, by "care" I mean, the adoration, the ego stroking, etc, etc. I believe those to be ideas instituted by corrupt priests. Ultimately though, I think most people naturally reject the uglier parts of the Bible and the Koran.

  • frogive me for saying this, but Europeans have no place telling middle easterners how to worship God, we, who started monotheism, we, who had men who risked their very lives living alone in the desert, while no white man anywhere in Europe (except for the Druids), had similar courage, certainly not Germanic whites. We, who though not the legal, gave the world the spiritual foundation of the very idea of human rights, European theologians have ZERO right, to tell us how to worship God.

  • I am saddened to see semitic people too, were victims of the Nicean creed.

    So much was lost.

  • I'm sorry for being rude, but I don't care for the religion; only the language.

God does not need a blood sacrifice to save souls, nevertheless I fully believe Jesus did indeed rise from the dead. I believe in a God, whose love does indeed "make all things new," not the legalistic tyrant of Orthodox Jews.

  • well, God did need to give Himself for us in the flesh, so that through Jesus' death on the cross He could conquer death for us who are flesh and blood. it doesn't matter what we believe or think is right, friend. what matters ultimately is what is true from God's point of view; what He wants us to know.

  • God does not need to be paid to forgive sins, he's the master of the universe.

  • Jesus did not die on the cross as payment for man's sins, he died and came back to life for two reasons;

    1) to protect his friends from the Romans.

    2) to demonstrate that God's love can even conquer death itself, if a person shows true humility and purity of heart.

    Unfortunately, Rome exploited Jesus' "martyrdom."

Oh I fully believe he rose from the dead; like hell I'm going to believe the greatest power in this universe is the white race like freaking hell.

  • well, there's no reason to associate Jesus' Person with Europe.... He was born into the world as a Palestinian Jew, not a white person. and India, Syria, Turkey, all got to hear and believed the Gospel before Europe.

Jesus did die for His friends, and did conquer death, but not to show us that we too can do this. rather, because it was something we were not capable of doing. have you ever tried asking Christ Himself, sincerely and humbly, why He did those things?

  • so God is like an arrogant corporate CEO that does not share power?

  • God doesn't need to share His power.... He is God, and only He has the wisdom, omniscience, and clarity of perspective to guide the universe. what He does share with us, is His love, grace, and fellowship. so He does graciously allow us to enjoy fellowship and eternal life with Him, through His Son Jesus Christ, by whom He came to save and live with us. Jesus did not have worldly power while on earth, nor does He promise that kind of power to us. but He does promise us peace forgiveness and life

  • What about the power to purify your own soul so you can use divine power with wisdom?

a truly loving God, would not deny his children the ability to fully mature, only a child abuser, keeps their children dependent all their lives, a loving parent raises his children to grow strong, and live on their own when they are ready.

    Lifelong dependency is not love.

  • we can't purify our own souls... we can do the best we can to make the right choices, treat others with respect, and live a purposeful life, but we can not personally and eternally reconcile our selves to God. that takes a work of God, the cleaning of our sins, and a new God-given nature.

God does give us the chance to mature, in Him. He also gives us the choice to continue living by our own standards, and ideas. true love wants a relationship, and that is what He offers us, in Christ.

  • that is why you need to go to Church every sunday and pay the Priest's tithe!

remember, you can't do it on your own, so, better pay God's representative the pope!

sounds like a very irresponsible God to let his creation fall into sin, and not give them the means to come back on their own.

christians believe it can not be done, and look what evil that corrupt faith has done; Buddhists believe you need to work hard for your salvation and does anyone associate them with genocide?

  • why be a nice person when God gives you permission to be as racist and assholeish as you want huh?

also, how great is it that he's "all american."

  • Forgive me for using your own scripture, but...

"you prevent others from entering the kingdom of God, while you yourselves can not enter. You are like white washed tombs on the outside, but on the inside nothing but dried and dead bones."

Severe restrictions, given the suffering in this world, DEMANDS a need for some power over one's own soul to purify it, a truly loving God not possessed of arrogance, would be that responsible.

  • I am ashamed to say that the idea of an egomaniac, arrogant God, is a very semitic one; the black sheep from my own extended family, the ancient Levite priests, applied their own flaws onto God. God is arrogant, the way they were arrogant, God is cruel the way they were cruel, God is vindictive and angry the way they were vindictive and angry, every single flaw the ancient temple priests had in their own person, they ascribed to God, that in and of itself is unforgiveable.

  • absolutely I believe Jesus existed, and the reason I believe he existed is because modern Ashkenazi, the remnants of the Levite priests, hate his guts.

Hatred, can be far more powerful evidence that someone existed, sadly, than love.

  • i hear you. and that's a very unique argument for the existence of Christ. Pillsbury, i wrote a very small article a while back as to why God seems so "mean" in the OT. do you mind if i send it to you?

  • no thanks.

  • hey there....do you mind sending it to me? coz i do not understand it myself :(

  • I just don't believe he rose from the dead for the popularly named reason is all.

  • racism among whites in America, goes extremely deep, so deep, they have truly made Jesus into a Germanic white man, not an olive skinned ancient Hebrew.

  • Racism among white people goes deeper than you think; the interpretation of the Bible, carries more respect when Martin Luther or Wesley talk about it, than a middle eastern Syrian Orthodox priest. All I ever encountered there, was European theology, there was little to no middle eastern influence. The Jews? At NNU's library, they were merely a footnote, a "curiosity." White Christians though THEY had center stage, like I said, disgusting. Nowhere in that library did I even find thisprayer.

  • 1,428 views, what a damnable racist shame.

I am sad to say I wasted a year of my life in a hypocritical hell known as Northwest Nazarene University, and while there, one of the things that angered me most, was how their library had scant resources on ANY middle eastern sects of Christianity, it was all European. It was like, the words of some German, apparently carried more weight than some Syrian priest! It was disgusting.

  • @pillsburydoughboy47 why are you pissed off??, you don't like it?? then go to a porn website and stop bugging people here! cuz absolutely no body cares about what you think!!, in the end you harvest what you sow...

  • fascinating.. thanks very much

  • wonderful

  • 5 stars :)

  • Very beautiful.

  • Yes it is brother, thank you for sharing!

  • Yes it is!

  • Very beautiful, thanks for sharing!

  • This is a very beautiful video! The music and the pictures are perfectly matched with our Lord's Prayer! Thank-you for giving us this! God's Blessings and Peace to you!
