Mine are much different, but at about 50 seconds, when the sound sharpens and distorts while getting louder is exactly how it happens. for me it's usually the sound of a large dog running at me from a distance and as it gets closer it starts snarling. I know it's not real and i'm fully concience but i still can't help but being terrified as it sounds 100% real.

I thought I kno who u are and tried to reach up and remove the white cloth when it suddenly began to breath in and when it did I cld see air or something coming out of my mouth. He did this twice and was gone and then I was out of the SP. That was strange.

@UgetMe09 You cannot have any negative emotions on you when you go through it. Do you notice that the more you fear, the worse the experience becomes? This is because when you enter the dream world, everything manifests on your thoughts. So If you are calm and you think "oh its normal, this is going to be quick and easy B-)" then it will be...if you think negative thoughts or have any anxiety or nervousness, then it just might become a bad experience. The sooner you understand this the better :)

I guess I had dream paralysis once... When I was a kid, I feared a certain shadow in my room. I saw nightmares about it all the time and I could never move in them. Then, one night, I saw that nightmare again. I woke up and saw a face similar to my dad's (but way more disturbing) face just staring at me. I tried to shout and scream but I couldn't and I felt tears pouring in my eyes. When it finally ended, I screamed. And watched the figure burn as it screamed with me.

I get sleep paralysis few times a month, I know the cause of mine. Klonopin withdrawal. I take to many at the begining of the month and run out the last 7-10 days. The buzzing sound is the sound the human body makes. I had one the other night were I opened my eyes and saw my brothers walking and talking, but wouldn't wake me up, like I wasn't there but they weren't there. They know I get this A LOT and shake me or roll me off the bed to wake me up. NEVER SLEEP ON YOUR BACK!!!
how many of you take asthma medication? i noticed that my sleep paralysis started shortly after i started using an asthma inhaler. though i stopped taking it, i still get it a few times a year still. i also hear a high pitched buzz and sometimes it feels like my brain is buzzing or vibrating or something. ive thought someone walked into my house with bad intentions but never saw a demon or anything.

Last night I experienced this phenomena for the first time. It sounded pretty much like this clip, except that the voices weren't talking, they just made sounds. At the same time I had a slight bit of flashing hallucinations. It lasted maybe 10 seconds. After that I also had an "almost-lucid dream".
Should mention that I have been very interested in lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, etc for many years.

@KJPDude Wait til u experience it. I have read about it and though "Fuck me i really dont want that to happen to me". On wednesday it did, albeit for a few seconds but it was horrible. It is harmless though, and can also be an enlighteneing experience if you learn how to control it.

I witnessed this sound yesterday and the day before and it feels like its coming from a snake or somekind of reptilian and I saw somekind of blacksmoke in the middle of the room and I allmost died man.
The best explanation I've heard(and I experienced this too) is that your conscious is tuning between different dimensions(frequencies), and the static noise is similar to the static you'd hear between tuning between different radio stations(frequencies).

If you manage to stay "awake" while your body falls asleep, you experience what happens when your brain is, if you will, in a way disconnecting from reality and entering dream mode. @re4me That's called a hypnagogic hallucination. You woke up before your body did, so your brain still thought you were asleep. In a way you could say you were having the most intense day dream ever. Nothing to fear since it was all created by your brain which as amazing as it is, can be very stupid sometimes.
Its not a hallucination. If you get past the the sleep paralysis and splitting sensations you can have a conscious out of body experience (astral projection). I know what it is now but i still get scared when it happens but i remain calm. I never really see anything but hear alot of wierd crap like last night i also heard evil chuckling. I hate it!
I had sleep paralysis last night as well and it's the most scary experiences I've ever had. I used to have the hag visions and it dissipated after moving to a new home but I still get the high pitch ringing and all the other symptoms like labored breathing, near out of body experience, eye movement and a tingling down my body that even stays after the attack. Many times I find myself relapsing back into the attack several times back to back. Nothing really seems to help.

This description describes my experience almost to a T it really scared the hell out of me but at least I know now whats going on
well i had a lucid dream the other night no kidding i realized i was dreaming half way through while i was supposedly driving a muscle car. so i realized it was a dream shifted into reverse and screamed as i was flooring it in rverse until i crashed and woke up :)

In my dream its always going good. Im hanging out with friends at a party or somthing. Then BAM. my vision starts getting all fucked. Then soon i cant walk. Then i cant move any thing in my body. And i always think that somebody drugged me. Then it the room gets dark and i start hearing scary sounds or friends around me, their faces start getting scary. THen i will wake up in my room..but i still cant move. Im not awake at all. Then i see a blue demon in front of my face When i wake up i c faces
What i here is only the sound of the hag demon. Right b4 i see her she makes the most horably scary noise i hever heard. It would make such a scary movie if i wrote on paper on what i see.
If these sounds disturb you during an exit just ask for help to get through it. I just ask for help and it always makes the stressful stuff dissolve. Doesn't matter what beliefs you have about spirit guides and so on, if you don't buy into that then you can look at it as your subconscious giving you a hand :) either way give it a try next time the noises get too much

I guess I had dream paralysis once... When I was a kid, I feared a certain shadow in my room. I saw nightmares about it all the time and I could never move in them. Then, one night, I saw that nightmare again. I woke up and saw a face similar to my dad's (but way more disturbing) face just staring at me. I get sleep paralysis few times a month, I know the cause of mine. Klonopin withdrawal. I take to many at the begining of the month and run out the last 7-10 days. The buzzing sound is the sound the human body makes. I had one the other night were I opened my eyes and saw my brothers walking and talking, but wouldn't wake me up, like I wasn't there but they weren't there. They know I get this A LOT and shake me or roll me off the bed to wake me up. NEVER SLEEP ON YOUR BACK!!!

Last night I experienced this phenomena for the first time. It sounded pretty much like this clip, except that the voices weren't talking, they just made sounds. At the same time I had a slight bit of flashing hallucinations. It lasted maybe 10 seconds. After that I also had an "almost-lucid dream".
Should mention that I have been very interested in lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, etc for many years.

I had sleep paralysis just last night and I heard a similar sound like someone was commentating.. I suffer from SP alot. I know what it is now but i still get scared when it happens but i remain calm. I never really see anything but hear alot of wierd crap like last night i also heard evil chuckling. I hate it!

I had sleep paralysis last night as well and it's the most scary experiences I've ever had. I used to have the hag visions and it dissipated after moving to a new home but I still get the high pitch ringing and all the other symptoms like labored breathing, near out of body experience, eye movement and a tingling down my body that even stays after the attack. Many times I find myself relapsing back into the attack several times back to back. Nothing really seems to help.

@WuZei Wow you guys just helped me out alot this happened to me earlier today while sleeping and it was the most terrifying thing I have ever been through and Im a Iraqi War vet. This description describes my experience almost to a T it really scared the hell out of me but at least I know now whats going on

well i had a lucid dream the other night no kidding i realized i was dreaming half way through while i was supposedly driving a muscle car. so i realized it was a dream shifted into reverse and screamed as i was flooring it in rverse until i crashed and woke up :)
But I figured out how to get the dream I want most of the time so I dream about the ladies ;) lmao

In my dream its always going good. Im hanging out with friends at a party or somthing. Then BAM. my vision starts getting all fucked. Then soon i cant walk. Then i cant move any thing in my body. And i always think that somebody drugged me. Then it the room gets dark and i start hearing scary sounds or friends around me, their faces start getting scary. THen i will wake up in my room..but i still cant move. Im not awake at all. Then i see a blue demon in front of my face When i wake up i c faces

What i here is only the sound of the hag demon. Right b4 i see her she makes the most horably scary noise i hever heard. It would make such a scary movie if i wrote on paper on what i see.

If these sounds disturb you during an exit just ask for help to get through it. I just ask for help and it always makes the stressful stuff dissolve. Doesn't matter what beliefs you have about spirit guides and so on, if you don't buy into that then you can look at it as your subconscious giving you a hand :) either way give it a try next time the noises get too much
