Ridicolous scene. first it's really difficult to see a vc surrend, a lot of them stayed wounded on the ground for days, dieing, waiting for a us to approach to blow themselves up with a nade and kill him. Second, war is really more cruel than we can imagine, don't need to explain to bros why you kill, and anyway you don't waste your time climbing with a not so collaborative prisoner to 6 meter height just to hang him. isn't it? Who the hell write this shit?

"At least five of our brothers"? So he doesn't know exactly how many people this Charlie offed. This whole scene just seemed so ridiculous; I think I might be laughing most at how the US uniforms looked nothing like what US troops actually wore in 1968 Vietnam.

@Hikarilover123 Yeah, beliefs that included raping and murdering every man woman and child they could get their hands on who did not want their "beliefs" i.e. communisim. I really feel for them. Also Charlie is just the phonetic spelling for VC. Victor charlie. There is nothing offensive about it, unless you are looking for things that are not there.

theres one u.s soldier left and one viet cong left. and there trapped inside the same room in the tunnel. and they help each other by digging there way out of the tunnel. but they both die from suffocation because they tunnels are blocked because the sand from the tunnel clogged.
