kids , this is the way a guitarist with real feel plays . Dont be taken in by the arpeggio obsessed , ten thousand note per minute show off players , who think that what they do is really creative . It takes a different type of thinker /player to lay down a masterful , minor key blues that really gets into your soul.
This was my personal favorite off Presence, but also Achilles Last Stand, especially the intro. I was a teenager and I saw them on this tour at Oakland collisium, the day before Robert Plants son died, the second to the last show they ever did in the U.S., I was just a teen welp, but I remember them being incredible to watch, and the opening band was pretty good also, they were a new metal band from England, the singer drove a harley on to the stage, they were called "Judas Priests"

Hadn't heard this in years, the blues can't be played much better than this. Zep were amazing, every one of their albums had a different sound and vibe to it. Same thing with Van Halen (w/Dave).
@bwdrums1 , I'm big Van Halen w/ Dave fan and I was thinking same thing but Zeppelin have got to be one of the most versatile bunch of mofos. In addition to hard rock, they did blues, folk, country, funk, symphonic and even samba music (see Fool In The Rain). I don't have very many Zep songs in my iTunes library but I need to change that. These guys were the best IMO.
@144wychwood You are mistaken. You simply can not have an itunes library without all of Zeppelin. Id change things fast because without Zeppelin you will go to hell. You can pray and worship God all you want but only Zeppelin lets you walk up the Stairway to Heaven.
the only real "alright" song on this album is Hots on For Nowhere, even though it snot too bad at all. people can stop ignoring it now please. its a legendary album that sbeen overshadowed by other godlike albums by the same band. comparing past and present work is stupid, listen to it for what it is
@lettybones Hey, if you don't like it, go listen to something else! LZ is, without a doubt whatsoever, the BEST.EVER.BAND., (hmmm, redundantly) PERIOD! OK, off my soapbox, and going to bed, LOL!!!
Its a funny old life, i play an aweful lot of Led Zep and except for Achilles and Nobodys Fault I left the Presence album out of the loop for 30 plus years. I dont know why. Playing it now though and where did those 30 plus years go!!!!

Love the song. Love the intro too and almost think another song should have been made around the intro.
