Thanks for your note, dsdxd. My comment was intended in the nicest possible way, as many, many people mistakenly refer to "the HMS . . . " or "the HMAS . . . " etc. I have even heard it on the hallowed BBC!
I note someone has voted down my post. Sorry, but I don't see what I have said to deserve that! Best wishes to Oz from the mother country.
@EinMagillaGorilla Hmmmm . . . . It's sad to see that moronic comments from thickos are still allowed on YouTube. Besides the needlessly foul language, you obviously don't even know your own nation's history. What an ambassador for that wonderful country you are!
@EinMagillaGorilla You shouldn't need ME to tell you your country's history, in particular why Great Britain is regarded as the mother country. Perhaps you should have paid more attention at school.
That having been said, I don't intend responding to any more of your trolling, no matter what provocation you may throw out.
Just a small point: HMAS means Her Majesty's Australian Ship. Therefore, it makes no sense to say "the HMAS". You should simply say "aboard HMAS Sydney".
And it goes without saying that the only bands to play Sunset really, really well are the bands of Her Majesty's Royal Marines.
To be fair we have no idea if the band here could play Sunset better than the Royal Marines because we didn't get to hear it in this clip. They only played the day thy harvest and that's it.
WHY DID IT END,before BUGLER sounded SUNSET?
Nice to see a old tradition ,being kept. not bad ,but NO One Does it Better than The Bands of The Royal Marines.

@renard801 Yes, my nation, my country. You're not Australian. Please enlighten me about my history.
