"O you who believe! Do not render vain your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury, like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men and he does not believe in Allah nor in the Last Day." (Qur'an 2:264)
Masha' Allah brother. May Allah reward him for his hardship and patience and may Allah reward you for thinking of your fellow brother and being kind to him. I will make sure next time I stop by that area, hopefully tomorrow, to greet and insha' Allah do my best to help a needing brother.
