@MissHeavymetalfan yes, you can palm mute on the original guitar but the Pro Series is much more advanced and therefore the palm mute is better because you can mute the chords and single notes. If you are interested in controlling what you are playing then get the Pro Series. The original series is better for younger kids and for people who know nothing about playing guitar but want to just have fun. hope this helps.

@DarkWilliam560 not sure what you mean about wanting to learn freestyle songs. if you want to put the guitar into freestyle mode, hold the "mode button" until you hear the strum sound. then next press the 4th fret to put the guitar into freestyle mode. then you will be able to play freestyle chords. The guitar came with a chord chart that shows you what chords you can play.

I saw this paper guitar today at a store and was wondering how it might sound connected to my surround sound for the TV? Is the deep base sound there? or will it always sound some what like the sound is coming out of some old plastic speakers? Anyway, hope the boy didn't end up with whiplash after his session. this is real but the boy isn't playing it by himself... because paper jamz have got 3 extra songs and while the guitar is playing you can just press the buttons but touch one of the buttons then you can see that every chord is the same so this is not so real... :=)
