  • I made comment that the HIV people should get help and meds from the us and schooling to get their lives back. I get cursed out for saying that a year ago. I guess Haiti should just help itself.

  • It's Wonderful people like yourself that make this world a better world. you have a heart, not of Gold but of Diamond. you are a true (ANGEL) in our eyes. Thank you, thank you, thank you. To all the genuine People who have helped Thank you.

  • I have family in Jamaica also and when I heard this I was hurt so bad!! Your right they already without the earthquake have been through so much that this just topped it all!!.. I even tried to go there and volunteer but my area already left when I tried. It was horrible and I pray all the time that everything wont take a long time for them to get better and to get through.

  • Keep your head up sis regarding Haiti. Remember, all things work together, for the good.

  • If i was you i would donate anything and everything except for money because the money is not going to our brothers and sisters at all period because Obama,Bush Jr.,Clinton, and the ''ELITE'' bankers control this situation for their benefit only and the Red Cross is ''RACIST'' also but you don't hear me though.

  • @4LOSTSOULSONLY i so agree with you with red cross

  • Thanks. If it's a popular organization you see advertised everywhere on all media it is a fraud know that.

  • i feel ur pain girl i am haitian i am ready to help haiti .

  • whats the name of the song?

  • @jennifere06

My goodness that's all you took from that?

  • you could make special braclets and things and donate a percentage to them, that could show alot of support also. Im sure alot of ppl would buy them and you could donate a certain percentage to the certain donation places

  • @haitianbeauty19 *hugs*

  • After the worst earthquake in 200 years the capitol of Haiti is leveled. Damage estimates are in the tens of dollars.

  • Thank you for this video! I have been feeling the same hurt and no one around me seems to be as sensitive to others pain. I pray God's will and provision for those left in Haiti. God bless you sister for following your heart to post this video.

  • Dude really, It's not about you, What the heck girlfriend. Eating dirt, serously not what we want to hear now.. If you want to something don't make it about yourself sister. I'm Jamaican too, dude it's not about you. speak of them like they are some other type of animal. nah yo.

  • she was having sympathy for people going through pain and you tell her to eat dirt? thats not mature at all. I AM HAITIAN. A REAL HAITIAN AND I UNDERSTAND. so you as a jamaican had no place telling her what we need. i love jamaicans but you just represented them wrong

  • My friend, I didn't tell her to eat dirt. I said eating dirt serously, which was to her comment saying that these people were eating dirt. I just don't know any nation that eats dirt. I did a little investigation regarding what she was saying. Haitian people have this candy they call it "Terre" translating "Dirt"so she went on that, not doing her investigation. I'm a history major, I invest before stating anything regarding anything. Other people listing to her will believe it they eat dir

  • @Jonathanson22

Why don't you shut up, you researched? Researched!!! The majority of that stuff is printed by white people who have visited the country and I seriously doubt that they would report correct. And just to let you know I was watching something on a christain channel and a child was eating dirt this was in Africa somewhere. The only research you can do is phyically being there.

  • this is not Africa idiot, It's Haiti. Yes you idiot there's a candy call Terre ask any Haitian. Don't like to be corrected.

  • i love how @neoursa is talkin bout my people like we're diseased dogs tht need a new home like i feel disrespected by tht comment. we're not animals tht need shelter we r human beings, so thk about wat u write b4 u post it smh...

  • They should bring them to the us for school and work and a new life. Give them drugs for HIV and feed them.

  • @neoursa Let me guess. You are a white boy living in the United States of America putting your best foot forward to let the world know that, yes, you really do talk like that. Shameful how you people say you are not racist and then get on the internet and talk nastier than the devils whore.

  • I feel your pain sister, I have cried for them as well. I to have wanted to put my life on hold and go help, but I know that is not possible for me. So I did what you did, I donated funds and I prayed for them. I have also encouraged my family and friends to donate and always pray. God Bless you sister.

  • Thank You @BlackOnyx77

@Mddarch They do eat dirt for nutrients

what do think is in dirt to grow plants.. (simple science) Not all Haitian eat dirt but a large percent of Haitian are in poverty. We have people in the slums that have to do this to curve the hunger pain.

  • I've haven't truly thought this much about my Haiti experience in a long time. Not that I forgot, but I haven't given it as much thought. This video has inspired me to do so. I am going to write about my experience then and what I feel now. I will share the link to my public blog when I complete it because I know I stand in on a middle ground. Having seen both sides before and after this tragedy. I am standing in agreement with you. Life is rough now but it's time to remember we're still blessed

  • I'm almost 23 years old. I visited Haiti as part of a mission trip almost 8 1/2 years ago. I was 14 then. I returned with such an appreciation for what I have. The center of this earthquake, Port au Prince--I've been there. I saw the poverty before this earthquake, before the gov't change in 2004. I've seen it first hand. I remember people I met there. I remember faces and I have pictures. I remember how much my heart hurt then and it only hurts more now. And after watching this, it hurts still

  • hey babe,it's not about you this time, maybe try to show your crying self and repeat things we all know a little less, because we were already watching these horrors while you were avoiding anything else than fashion shows on your tv.but it's good to do it anyway ,that might maybe remotely touch most of the fashion victims who are addicted to your stuff,so take care, and start to look at the world a little more and your frocks a little less.

  • dont cry

  • may god bless u and keep u and ur family safe and every1 who has been through these trajadies and to all the survivors and may all the dead ppl live a happy life w God

  • this is so sad i will ask my parents if i can donate

  • u hateful ass, there is a nice spot for you. may God have mercy on your soul you ignorant peice of trash!

  • Google...

    bariumblues

then, go to rense and scroll down to the article...

    The Haiti quake

    Where did it come from

    You just might learn something.

  • Some one in my class at school, went to Haiti a few weeks before the earthquake, because his parents wanted to see his Grandmother...=( he died that day...everyday now I pray for him and his Family.. where ever they may be....

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I am haitian-american and although most of my family is in the US this disaster has it home. I pray for the ignorant cowards such as hubbard771 that they can recover from the disease of hatred. CNN shows the disaster wrong and uncut and everyone in the world should see the reality of the situation.

Text HAITI to 90999 which is the Red Cross Org. A $10 donation will be applied to your cell phone bill.

    GOD BLESS HAITI!!!!!!!!

  • 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

  • WTF is wrong with you??? Its people like you who will never be anything, will never do anything!!! It is hateful for you to say something like that!!! What if that was your family under the debris or DEAD!!! Would you want some asshole on youtube telling you that they sould eat DIRT!!!! People like you URK me!!! There is a nice warm spot for you in hell!!!!

  • Its sooo sad - I have never seen thoughs images before - they are so shocking and really puts the devastation into context. My church is planing to do an appeal

  • My heart is breaking with you. I donated too and we all will get through this

  • At my daughters school in England the head teacher is putting on a non uniform day and the children will donnate a pound to come in there regular clohes all moneys will go to haiti

  • ur voice is beautiful igotta start prayn i cry alot its so heartbreakn

  • jamaica dodged a bullet a few weeks ago that plane that slid off the free way was suppose to be a disaster but fortunately no one died. 100 people to that small island would of been alot and look at haiti we have over 50K dead and people who are still burried alive. it seems no help is getting to them 4 days have passed and 72 hours is whats expected.

  • This is such a hard time. Thank you for sharing your feelings.

  • I donated and cried too.

  • I don't understand this. Why such a catastrophe? Why so much pain?

  • "Out of Many One People" I Understand how you feel. If it was Jamaica I would go crazy.

  • what happend was she was sent to a far by hospital for better treatment 3 hours away from Port Au Prince, on her way to that hospital unfortunately she did not make it, imagine that. she survived after spending 50 hours under those debris this is the last thing i wanted to hear that she past away.

  • im hoping that its not true that somehow their info from her uncle is false. but apparently the 11 year old died. her lasts words were ~moma dont let me die~.

  • I just need to inform you, just so you know the little 11 years old girl that was rescued after spending 50 hours underneath the rubbles unfortunately she past away yesterday.

  • God bless you for your kindness and your powerful words towards our fellow haitian brother and sisters like i said We are on this tigether and I know for sure with the power of God we will get through this tragedy..we really need people like you. You are nothing but an angel from God just keep pryaing for us. God Bless you

  • my mom has two sisters in Haiti and one brother and I have lots of cousins over there i am really speechless to see what's going on over there right now for the past 4 days I have been doing nothing but crying...thank you for your great heart

  • thank you so much for your words as someone like me who was born in haiti that means lot to me. I liv ein Seattle but my most approach family members live in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

  • I completely understand how you feel. I am also Jamaican with Haitian friends. Let me tell you, it could have easily been Jamaica. God is Good ALL THE TIME!

  • yes it could have, because we are on the same falt line as haiti,,,

  • I do not know what to say anymore but crying and being dispaired and hopeless. Thank you so much for we all are brothers ans sisters from God in the Caribbean Islnad areas. God bless you

  • I finally contacted my sister and she says that there are places rescue teams haven't even reached yet, she escaped her house with her children by herself.

  • You have the heart of an angel. The world needs more people like you. Love, peace, and happiness.

  • Thankls for posting this video... Iam a haitian american and I got word I lost an uncle and aunt already and I havent been dealing with it.... I needed that cry .... those images just are so RAW....Im just praying because I know all things are possible through christ.

  • My sympathy goes out to you and your family

  • Thank you for sharing your heart!

  • you'd be better off donating to darfur, people seem to have forgotten about that place. just a fad i guess

  • I take comfort in knowing that it will not be like this always. We need to do what we can to help but at the same time we should not lose faith. Prayer is powerful and the people need them right now. Revelation 21:4 God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.

  • aww rochelle..you have such a sweet spirit! i'm def going to keep all the families in my prayers..they need that more than anything. thanks for pouring your heart out because you didn't have to..stay blessed! :o)

  • and how would u know???? just because u dont cry dont mean u dont care......asswipe!!!!

  • Hey Blackonyx. I live in jamaica. the tremors were actually felt here and we know it is Go;d mercy that we were not worse affected. But we are doing all that we can to help. Everybody is doing what they can to send money, food, water, clothing, mattresses. It is really tragic. I have a few friends whose family members have died there, but God is able to take them through. Keep on praying for them and doing what you can

  • when something bad happened that time people think about god but when there is nothing happened people are enjoying in our life and having fun without praying and so such a bad things .. this is good sign from god that let the people know to keep pray and pray. god is every where

  • i know one thing they need to have hands on and america and all the other countries needs to step up and not half way to the fullest or our ability i mean go above for this one cause we need too and we must dont sit back and watch this go down they need help they need us. and i will be praying for you haiti

  • I don't know why the poor suffer and suffer more and more each day this stuff sad man

  • I have to agree with you..

  • I swear ignorance must be contagious.

  • Yes it's contagious all around the world. someone marked my comments as spam another sign that gives credit to what we say here..

    Prayers for Haiti.

  • Here we go again with racist people making general statements about a race of people. "Blacks" as you call us are not the only ones to make impulsive and poor decisions with their money people of all races do things of that sort. And this discussion is about helping haiti a country in need not try and bash "blacks".

  • Excuse me, what gives you the right to speak about blacks this way. I am an intelligent BLACK female and this is extremely offensive. I don't know what race you are and it doesn't matter but speak for yourself, how dare you. you are generalizing everybody and that is an extreme sign of ignorance.

  • It's heart wrenching to see people suffer like this. People even if you just dontate 5 dollars it might just save a life. They need so much!

  • I am from Jamaica. And God know, I don't know what I would do If my Granny Dem stuck in the rubble. Fret and fret. This is an eye awakening, something to remember life is taken for granted. This world will end shortly. Just waiting, you know. Nuh love, respect-Rach.

  • Thank you my sister for posting this. I am Haitian-American and this is killing me, I can't eat, sleep, or think about anything else. My grandparents hard work is gone...they have lost their home and all their memories. I cry for all that have lost their lives and for those that have been saved. Haitian are very proud people and this is just another test for us, we shall overcome, but for now it is hard...and painful! God Bless!

  • Please Lord ! Have mercy !!!

  • Its so sad :(

  • I feel your pain! Im crying right along with you! It doesnt matter where people are from we are ALL children of the ALMIGHTY! I wish I could do more as well. But it is all in God's master plan...he hears the cry of his people & he will provide for their needs!

  • was the Haiti earthquake a strike with the HAARP scalar weapon? Suiting to build a new US naval base right there and bring Haiti under military control...?

  • may the peace and comfort of god be with the families of haiti.prayer that the salvation of god will move in the land

  • On NBC Nightly news they showed a two year old little girl whose leg had been broken and no one was there to splint it. They showed a tiny baby only days old that had facial injuries and a little boy that had to be held down by his mother while they stitched his leg wound and they had nothing to deaden the pain.

I sobbed openly when I saw this cause I see my own little girl who is healthy and strong.

Please World text, give do whatever. We can do it, we can help. We have to.

  • I did the text donation to 501501 YELE. I was scared at first but you get a confirmation text back!

  • I cried real hard Thursday night. I was watching ABC news. I am sure that my Church will do something

  • I am from Trinidad. Our Government has donated $1 MILLION U.S

  • This is a heart breaking situation. I'm Haitian with my mom back home and we still have no communication with them, but we're praying they are fine. Thank you guys...

  • We as black people are strong! We will prevail! Donate anything you can because we never know when it's going to us! Unity & Love is powerful! I feel your pain my beloved sista! Pray for our people! Peace, Love & Blessings

  • @callusedheel you must have nothing else better to do with your life......please do everyone one big favor and kill yourself!!!

  • Thank you so much for this video. The whole thing kind off went past me. I wasn't taking it in. Seeing you made me realise what's happening. I hope your friends and their families are all right. And I hope something will change in this world. All countries need to work together in order to prevent this from happening again. They knew two years ahead of time, but Haiti couldn't do anything. Why on earth didn't the ones in power help them!? We need to realise someting really sick is going on. Love

  • Gyal I understand the depth of your pain. My family is from Trinidad and I too have Haitian friends. My prays are also with them.

  • ihave same shower curtain

  • This is so awful As a New Orleanian I know what it's like to loose everything. But the Haitian people have been through so much that my heart can't take it. Nothing compares to this catastrophe. As an African-American I don't know where my roots stem from, but deep down I feel like a part of my history has just been wiped away. The Haitian revolution impacted New Orleans so much and I feel a connection to this disaster. The Haitian people are strong but they need our prayers and support right now

  • Feeln you pain.. so sad, Bless Haiti

  • My family is in the Virgin Islands and I just returned from there less than 2 weeks ago. I understand your fear and grief. I cried too. I understand. *hugs*

  • My heart hurts for the Haitian people too. It is only my faith in God that keeps me positive for them. The Bible says that natural disasters on previously unseen scale and frequency will occur before Christ returns. I believe it. It seems that we can never go into a new year without natural disasters around us. Let us all pray for these afflicted people every day. I believe that God will help us all help them get through this. May God be merciful.

  • Donate Donate Donate every little bit helps just think about this vid has 2,871 views if every person dat viewed dis donated $1. it would be a total of $2,871.00 if you can donate $1.00 then do it if more better but imagine how many people live in da states here in PR is about 4 million I can imagine da states.

  • Comment removed

  • you can take a free trip to Haiti to help them out.....i'm not too positive who is sponsoring this but you should look into that...hope this helps

  • As a Haitian-American, I truly appreciate you taking the time to post this video. I respect you soo much more. Thank you.

  • i wish i could help too, seeing this video I nearly cried. donating to their is such a big thing to do, but i really dont have the money and it hurts sooo bad to have to say i dont have the money. I pray for every last person there, from there, or has family and friends there.

  • Donate to the right organizations! Donate to Wyclef Jean text "yele" 501501. Other organizations may get the money faster but it may not get to them at all!

  • You are correct please do research. Some people myself included wants to donate directly to friends family that are in need because I am skeptical about a lot of these organizations. Do research about how much people say they are actually giving to haiti and how much money they have raised. i.e., the red cross

  • i'm haitian and its so great to know that real people like you are actually doing stuff for my desperate country. Haiti needs all the help it can possibly get. me and my familly members are so devastated by this horrible disaster. we are all praying that the people in haiti will find relief and aid.

  • I am Haitian and I am so happy you posted this. I have alot of family there and glory be to God their ok. I pray for everyone that has lost someone there and I also pray for the rescue teams that are there helping. Remember this is not a Haitian thing but a humanitarian thing. I am so happy that the world has come together as one and are helping the people there.

  • I have not been watching the news but I have so many friends that are haitian and I just feel for them....I wish I could go over there to help

  • Watching this.. Living in Louisiana I thought Katrina was bad when my family members lost everything but this is even harder to watch. I donated money but I wish I could do so much more.

  • i agree with you,you never know, maby this is the meaning of a new begining for haiti, btw, all you racist can leave.

  • Thx for this video

  • Thank you for the video

  • This was just so terrible. I made a donation but I plan to donate some more within my means. My heart goes out to them. It's like Katrina and the Tsunami all over again....

  • i feel so bad now. im going to text to donate.

  • Now what was the point of that? Dont waste your time hearing and looking at "niggers" if you don't like them, especially writing about them. You can find "better" things to do with your time.

  • @MasterJenkins1 spoken by a true asswhole .. this could've been a city in America!

  • How do you blame Obama for a natural disaster? And Pat Robinson IS so old he probably is the damn devil and has the nerve to call himself a reverend! I've never heard so much negativity during a disaster in my life smh. Shame on all these hateful people. And hopefully the people get the help they need.

  • Thank You!!!

  • A cried too knowing mii people was going through this i just couldnt do it. My life pause for a whole after that I haven't watch tv since I had no one to talk to why they had to suffer so much I ask myself

  • THank you for your tears for Haiti, we are Haitians we appreciate your broken hearth for our people. Yahwah bless you in your future, with long life and prosperity.

  • That's the same way I feel like I don't have any money and I have no way to help...I can't stop crying...I am going to donate...but I want to make sure these ppl get this money no matter how small amount I manage to donate.

  • @ MrsSeal yeah I agree, I've posted this on my fb as well. God fixes all. Those who disagree with that then that's your personal problem! God loves Haiti and I trust him to help and heal all. None of us know when our day will come. They have my prayers!

  • i hope you dont mind but i am going to tweet and post this video on my fb.

  • thanks for this post...i didnt know it was that bad..thanks for helping me open my eyes

  • Not true! Donate money to the red cross that is how you know your money is being used correctly!

  • I have made a donation . Spread the word to all your internet friends to do the same and stem the tide of suffering . Peace and Love !!!!!

  • My heart breaks for those that are experiencing this devastation and for those that are here wondering about their loved ones in the US. Ive been thinking about my responsibility in this world and what can be doneLord, show yourself strong in this situation through your deeds and through your people.

  • I hope you don't mind, but I am goinf to post this on my fb. Not to exploit you but because it's sooo heart warming and because I feel sooo the same way as you.

Just keep praying! I have been praying just had not Watched CNN, too devasting, but because of you decided to watch some.

Yes, Praise God and thanks, Keep Praying for our families! Keep prayng! God Bless you!

Hopefully as the months go by people won't forget! They will need continual support and prayers as the day, year goes on!
