Love this video! I saw them in Dallas in 1974 (maybe)... they were absolutely wonderful! Different and very entertaining! Such talent! One of the BEST concerts I ever attended.
..glad I am old enough to have seen Queen live..no one came close to the pure genius of these 4 amazing men..Freddie Mercury the most purely perfect voice I ever heard..he was the greatest frontman ever. Brian May is a guitar master and also great songwriter Roger Taylor amazing drummer and that falsetto wow John Deacon great on bass and also wrote many of Queens classics, almost 20 years since Freddie is gone..but his music lives on

Best singer of all is Freddie Mercury ( queen of rock, and king + queen of vocals), Second Roger Taylor (king of drums), then third Michael Jackson (king of pop and dancer).
watchn save me song on you tube live in argintina. his mic cut out and he used John deacons. proves that john deacons mic works also to shows that its turned down but still clearly audible
I think Roger's "yeah yeah" at the finish (he used to do it constanltly, when playing Somebody to Love) is really heart-breaking. The perfect ending to a perfect song.
i agree. well john didnt think he had a very good voice so he had his mike turned off and made it look like he was singing. once in a while queen would play a trick on him and turn his mike on. I think they did that at this concert
I think it is Freddie but the sound and video seems a bit out of sync. Good to hear John in the chorus though, his mike was probably a bit harder than was meant to be ;-)
Brian, Roger: A 70's Queen concert on dvd, please. Give us Earl's Court, Houston '77, Hyde Park, Rainbow '74, Crazy Tour, you name it , just give us a 70's show with the official Queen Productions treatment.
Yeah, well if I'm an asshole, then your a retard. If I can't understand him, then who can? All I tried to do was help answer his question but I couldn't understand him. And then some random person, like you, comes and starts cussing me out. I've been putting up with people getting mad at me on this site for long enough. Basically, no matter what you say, somebody is going to have a smart comment to rub in your face, filled with profanity.
day-yum! (supposed to be "damn", but like how a sassy fat black chick would say it.)I thought this song was made a little later than '77. In the music video he looks different than he did in this video
People get older and invariably lose a bit of their freshness. Rock & Roll singing is very taxing especially in the upper register and fatigue generally shows up first in the singing voice first and Queen had about as busy a concert schedule as anyone.
true i looked up freddy's wikipedia and it said he did over 700 shows so ofcourse his voice will sound starined a bit but it didn't effect his studio voice
thanks you tube..we able to watch the best band from their gradual to their greatest peak performance that no way one could ever do the same way they did,and fame they ever had...Queen best band ever..thank you for the music

We can spot Deaky's voice better (so much better) at this same concert in "In the Lap of the gods... Revisited". His mic was way louder.
annyecarol 2 years ago
Yeah, but Deaky was totally out of tune in In "The Lap Of The Gods... Revisited", while his singing is actually quite good on this song.
You can also hear him on Killer Queen and Liar, from this concert.
Canaveral305 2 years ago
I forgot to say about he being out of tune... That was a disaster!! But anyway, we can hear his voice very loud as we can't in no other video.
Great missed Deaky!

SEB3600 3 years ago
Smoking may have been one factor in why his voice got harsher but he still had a great Rock voice in the 80's.

freddie sounds the same live as he does in music videos!!
the crappy singers today cant do that!
