  • Love this video! I saw them in Dallas in 1974 (maybe)... they were absolutely wonderful! Different and very entertaining! Such talent! One of the BEST concerts I ever attended.

  • Has anyone seen the recent pictures of John with a stripper? :P

  • Freddie Said " The Song's Called Somebody To Love,.. And That Title Will Be Stolen By A Gay Kid In The Future 21st Century" LoL...

  • FUCKING AWESOME! Even John was singing! And hell THAT'S ROCK!

  • Freddie is the only one that I know that rocked on the piano!

  • john john john john john. hehehe we love john. all the comments are about john. john is sexy !

  • ..glad I am old enough to have seen Queen live..no one came close to the pure genius of these 4 amazing men..Freddie Mercury the most purely perfect voice I ever heard..he was the greatest frontman ever. Brian May is a guitar master and also great songwriter Roger Taylor amazing drummer and that falsetto wow John Deacon great on bass and also wrote many of Queens classics, almost 20 years since Freddie is gone..but his music lives on

  • @ClassicRockDVD Thanks for letting me know.

  • Lol, 9 Years later, I remember Freddie speaking about how he regretted his choice of fashion during the 70s.

  • john should sing more than this

  • When Jonh deacon sing????

  • *sighs*

  • Queen forever!

  • Yup I just watched Save Me live @ Argentina. John's mic actually works, haha, but they turned up the volume more when Freddie started singing to it.

  • watchn save me song on you tube live in argintina. his mic cut out and he used John deacons. proves that john deacons mic works also to shows that its turned down but still clearly audible

  • If only John's mic was turned up just a couple more notches...:)

    I love you John!!!

  • This is probably my favorite Queen song!!! Freddie truly rocks it on stage!!

R.I.P FREDDIE!!! The best there is, best there was, best EVER!!!

  • that's my favourite concert of queen

  • omg...I'll never look at something plaid ever again.. x_x

    :O :O :O :O

  • Lol, 1:35 listen to brian

  • OH JOHN! Hahaha! I love it. His voice was very weak. Cute, though.

  • that was so cool

  • Brian is wearing the puffy shirt!!

  • O.o you can hear John singing "Find me somebody to love"... I think it was quite good hehe.

  • I can't hear John, can you tell me when does he sing?

  • he sings and u can hear it at 2:05

  • aww, it was cute!

  • I think Roger's "yeah yeah" at the finish (he used to do it constanltly, when playing Somebody to Love) is really heart-breaking. The perfect ending to a perfect song.

  • man....I LOVE THIS SONG SOOOO MUCH!!!

  • Haha, I love Brian's face during the solo. It's kinda like..."What's that noise? Wait I can't hear it? Almost...oh yeah. That's me shredding."

  • We can spot Deaky's voice better (so much better) at this same concert in "In the Lap of the gods... Revisited". His mic was way louder.

  • Yeah, but Deaky was totally out of tune in In "The Lap Of The Gods... Revisited", while his singing is actually quite good on this song.

You can also hear him on Killer Queen and Liar, from this concert.

  • I forgot to say about he being out of tune... That was a disaster!! But anyway, we can hear his voice very loud as we can't in no other video.

    Great missed Deaky!

  • if you would hear John sing watch "Liar live at the rainbow"....

  • Boy oh boy. Hearing Freddie rip gets me through the day sometimes :)

  • great performance. i wonder if the audience was singing cause i couldn't hear them

  • Nice to hear John sing, lol. I wish his mikes were turned up more often in the concerts so we could hear him.

  • Super Rogerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Roger's voice is too loud!! I wanna hear John better!!!

  • i agree. well john didnt think he had a very good voice so he had his mike turned off and made it look like he was singing. once in a while queen would play a trick on him and turn his mike on. I think they did that at this concert

  • Shit, I can hear John Deacon sing.

  • @QueenJneeuQ Where can ya hear him?

  • @Aec1127 Listen closley, Brian May isnt singing backing, and John Deacons mic is louder than Rodger Taylors.

  • @QueenJneeuQ When Is It?

  • Is it just me or does Brian seem a bit "robotic" in this video? I mean, the way he moves...

  • He was the biggest performer !

  • Wow, great version! They were great.

Who is singing the line :"Find me somebody to love" at 4:28? I'm a bit confused because of all the voices...:)

  • I think it is Freddie but the sound and video seems a bit out of sync. Good to hear John in the chorus though, his mike was probably a bit harder than was meant to be ;-)

  • Deffo Brian on that line. Deaky's mic were never switched on.

  • Freddie and the boys doing a mix of gospel/pop,dudes,the first time i heard this song i was a child! MEMORIES!

  • what is the music in the beggining?

  • The Millionaire Waltz

  • :( I can only hear Roger Taylor when John and Roger sing :(

  • King Mercury!!

  • Awesome to hear John sing!!

  • Brian, Roger: A 70's Queen concert on dvd, please. Give us Earl's Court, Houston '77, Hyde Park, Rainbow '74, Crazy Tour, you name it , just give us a 70's show with the official Queen Productions treatment.

  • Freddie Mercury did excellent

  • Hi! When can buy this release? Never lessn abo\bout this. Thanks for video

  • Um if you spoke English than maybe we could understand.

    "Never lessn abo/bout this"?

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, well if I'm an asshole, then your a retard. If I can't understand him, then who can? All I tried to do was help answer his question but I couldn't understand him. And then some random person, like you, comes and starts cussing me out. I've been putting up with people getting mad at me on this site for long enough. Basically, no matter what you say, somebody is going to have a smart comment to rub in your face, filled with profanity.

  • OMG! All comments suddenly became about John xD

  • John voice was better than he thought.

  • that's the first time i've heard john sing. i can sort of see why now. they were great at this song.

  • 4:18 - 4:36

you can hear John the clearest :D

  • Omg I totally heard John!!! Hes so adorable! I LOVE him <33333

  • If you cant hear John, try to find "In the Lap of the Gods...Revisited" from this concert. There you will hear.

  • It sounds like Brian Screwed up at 2:45 oh well i still love him.

  • day-yum! (supposed to be "damn", but like how a sassy fat black chick would say it.)I thought this song was made a little later than '77. In the music video he looks different than he did in this video

  • you such hear john on lap of the gods its funny

  • The begining, Millionare Waltz, sounded really good!

  • I don't think I've ever heard him speak before.

    He's so beautiful...

  • wow never heard john sing b4.... weird but he has pretty good pitch... dont see why he was so ashamed of it

  • uuh doo you hear john sing???? he's adorablee!!!!!

  • i dont hear him but hear ROger with his rough voice tho

  • you can hear John at "somebody-somebody"

and at "find me somebody to love-find me somebody to love-" if you pay attention you can hear him :)

  • I can hear him slightly now thanks

  • Freddie sang better during the 70s

cause he started smoking and his voice got a bit fucked upp :S

  • People get older and invariably lose a bit of their freshness. Rock & Roll singing is very taxing especially in the upper register and fatigue generally shows up first in the singing voice first and Queen had about as busy a concert schedule as anyone.

  • true i looked up freddy's wikipedia and it said he did over 700 shows so ofcourse his voice will sound starined a bit but it didn't effect his studio voice

  • well i still believe it was the smoking cause alot of people get older but still sing very well

  • Smoking may have been one factor in why his voice got harsher but he still had a great Rock voice in the 80's.

  • freddie sounds the same live as he does in music videos!!

the crappy singers today cant do that!

  • He was younger and the voice was at the peak of it's freshness. Invariably, he started transposing a lot of the upper notes down too.

  • i agree 100%

  • Amazing to see them perform in '77! :o)

  • This is great stuff :D

  • Freddie was and will always be the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Period.

  • thanks you tube..we able to watch the best band from their gradual to their greatest peak performance that no way one could ever do the same way they did,and fame they ever had...Queen best band ever..thank you for the music

  • I missed you Freddie...thanks for posting this
