  • are you usinmg an EFIE electronic fuel enhancer? is it your electrolytes that helps the cell be so efficient and small?

  • O.K., it's been a while since you posted this. Are you still using it? Did you have to make any changes? What have been the performance results? Any engine problems ! ( Inquiring minds want to know ;-)

  • Thanks,,1 More Question,,,That container,,,did it come from electrical dept or where,,Could not find it....

  • @bill99959 Yes the electrical department with all the enclosures..

  • where did you get the plastic box??

  • @bill99959 I got the box at Lowes

  • Have you checked the mileage after the MAS mod without the HHO gen? How do you know your MAS mod did not give you a mileage increase and your HHO gen is only giving you 5-10% mileage increase.

  • do you have to listen to the inverter beeping when you are driving the car

  • You might want to check into a simple transformer circuit, Radio shack can get you what you need and help you design it.. you could use the same circuit on your van and bike , guessing probly take up 1/3 of the space as your computer power supply alone;)

  • are u sure there is no temperature increase?it usually takes about 20 minutes to sense some temperature increase from room temperature if ur using electrolytes in the water..plus im sure the engine heating up the water in ur hho generator under the hood,u can cover the container with aluminum foil to reflect the engine heat

  • Could you number your videos, please. could you make a video showing the connection of the power to the mesh in your cell in detail. We have been doing some mesh cell research also.

  • do you improve youre mpg?

  • if you change your rings and increase the voltage to 3.14 you will notice something drastic HHO fuel is not Heat Exchange it is based on Molecular " Sharing " of atoms at a mono atomic level..in a sense Cold Fusion " yes i know some of you will laugh " Pi and Phi are the music of the universe sound, magnetic feilds , radio , heat and cold energy even photons and anti photons " what you people call Shadow " are all running harmoniously on this frequency.

  • Hey man I found something on ebay that will probably help you run 5 volts on your van without having to use a power invertor and a pc power supply.

Go to ebay and search for "Power Supply In DC or AC 7.5V-15V Out DC 5V Converter"

    It cost's $5.99 + S&H

I'm thinking about using one of these with my fuel cell, because at 5 Volts I don't have any heat issues and I can still get decent output with low amperage.

  • whats a map sensor..do i need one? i drive 1998 Chevy venture V6 3.1L engine

If yuor pc power supply usually is plugged into 120 V ac outlet..How does it output the 5 volts when ya connect it to car battery and DC-ac converter?

  • Have you considered cutting the wire grid into equal squares and then stacking each square on top of each other with 1/8" plastic/vinyl spacers in-between? You could use plastic/vinly bolts & nuts to hold it together. You would have to figure out a way to connect all of the positive squares together, but I'm sure you could figure that out. This might give you even better output if the mesh is evenly spaced. Just a thought.

  • Why not try Ballast resisters. It will reduce the voltage.

  • How about using a few Ballast Resisters (from older model cars in series to reduce the voltage. I have tried one and it reduced the voltage from 14.2 volts to 11.5 volt.

    Its worth a try.

  • Good job and great packaging idea!

Is it possible that you leaned your engine by modifying the MAP sensor and it was that mod that caused the MPG increase?

You can install a few N plates with weaker electrolyte and run the same current with 12 Volts.

  • Can you explain why u use 5v instead of 12v from your batt will it hurt something??? I have all the stuff to make a hho booster like yours I went to Lowe's yesterday!

  • ur usein ac?

  • No, 5 volts DC..

  • 5 volts is fine when you are testing with a pc power supply, but hooking up a power inverter & pc power supply in your van is using way more amps than if you just ran your cell directly from 12 volts.

Don't think that I'm knocking your design, because I'm just trying to help. The output is great and it doesn't overheat, because the wire mesh cools off faster than plate designs. I'd also think that less electricity is required to get current across the mesh.

    Keep up the good work.

  • In your quest for seeking 5 volts, did you try splitting the Hyd generator plates in two sections and connect them in series?? That would have allowed a 12volt source but the voltage on the plates would be at 6 volts dc.

The current would not change at the 12v source unless you changed the spacing of the plates.

    Just a thought.l

  • I would like to know where you purchased the stainless steel mesh. I can't find it anywhere? Also have you been able to increase your milage yet with the bigger generator you recently put on?

  • You can order SS mesh from McMaster Carr online, I have not been driving the Van since I got my motorcycle, so I have not been able to check, but I have a Gig opening for Atlanta Rhythem Section this Friday at Sparks America Bike Ralley and it is about a one and a half hour drive for me one way so I will see then.....

  • You Rock!! You're on my favorites now.

  • Thanks Bro!

  • Use rectifier diodes in series. They have a forward voltage drop of about .6 to.7 volts each. Use about ,hold on.... 11 to 12or a couple more. Get the right current rating on each diode for your cell. If the diodes get too hot the .6v per diode will go down to destruction .1v or less. So over do the current rating on the diodes. If you need a heatsink then do it. Make sure that system is fused.

I.C. Regulators, like transistor regs are inefficient.

  • You may have to adjust the # of diodes... use a voltmeter across the cell. And heat affects everything so monitor the cell over a warm up period. Thank you for the research that you have done. My hat is off to You Brother. You already may have the perfect system?

  • What is the current at 5V??? That PC switching supply is as efficient as you will get for converting to 5V.

  • Recommend to NOT use LM7805 voltage regulators to get your 5V out from 12V in. Why? Because 7V will drop across the regulator, and wasted power will be 7V times the current through it! Recommend to use 12V in to a Switching Regulator (i.e., the 12V will run a pulse-width-modulated power oscillator which will be rectified to produce the 5V you need with high efficiency and little energy waste). Your battery will last far longer this way as the conversion efficiency can be > 90%.

  • How much is 30% in miles?

  • CSIROCKSUS, what are the specs of your plates and solution(%NaOH)? thks

  • CSIROCKSUS, thanks for posting the videos. Regarding your ~30% increase, I was wondering if you might be willing to try an experiment. With your MAP sensor adjustment set as-is, have you ever tried turning OFF the HHO and doing another mileage test? What I'm wondering is, is that mileage increase entirely due to HHO, or partly due to a simple leaning-out of the AF ratio (due to the MAP sensor tweak)? That would be an interesting data point. Thanks!

  • I have not tried to turn off the S-Cell as I would not want to run my engine that lean with the load I carry in my van. I do think that with my Map/Maf Mod that someone would realize real MPG gains but at the risk of burning up a motor without the Hydrogen Booster. Thanks I do have built Map/Maf Mod and O2 sensor voltage adders that I will Sell if someone were interested and S-Cell too

  • Does CSIROCKSUS have an HHO gen full of anode mud by now? I think that's a problem. I modified a Bill Lang design, and the gunk is formed pretty quickly. I wonder whether Denny Klein has to deal with it?

    JerryR

  • I Don't think I understand you....I will go out there now and video me opening the cell and check....We'll see if there is crud in there or not. should check anyway...Hang on and I will upload he vid after I'm done....

  • Most recent PC power supplies provide a 3.3v output that can carry some pretty heavy amps. I assume you have tried that and decided that 5v was the better compromise. What was your logic on this decision? I would think that 3.3v with more amps would prodce better and run even cooler.

  • Hi SmartScarecrow, I did early on before I built this Cell and found that 5 volts output much better with no heating issues than 3.3 volts did. Now 12 volts puts out a lot more but heats up quick. 5 volts is the trick for me! I wish I could build a cheap DC to DC power converter to 5 volts instead of using an inverter and PC power supply...I am researching that now...Thanks

  • Great Experiments!
