Actually, the system designation was indeed PSX, and was launched everywhere. The console was a Playstation, which was replaced by the PSONE and later by the Playstation 2. Friggin noobs.

I have to correct myself.

There are more PLAYSTATION models. There is a PlayStation Grey. The normal model, a PlayStation White, rare object, PlayStation Net Yaroze, PlayStation; Helps you to program your own games in C (Black, with black controller) and a PlayStation Debugging Station (Green/blue with grey controller) and a PSone which is more slim and has no reset button.

But a PSX (PLAYSTATION Experimental) is an extended version of the PLAYSTATION 2. It was only avalable in Japan.
