Just saw her show in Denver last night. That woman gave the most commanding performance I have ever seen. It blows my mind that Britney Spears, Joss Stone, etc sell millions and this huge talent goes barely noticed. She sings and shakes and dances and smiles and grooves, you can tell she is a true performer at heart. I was not even a fan, but my wife dragged me along and now I am a NIKKA FREAK!!! NIKKA Rocks!!!! BUTTERFLY ROCKET (the album this comes from) is a v.difficult find, these days. Never released in the U.S. (2 my knowledge) only her (then) home base of Australia. The album came in 2 vers. The rarer one includes a live 6-song EP (LIVE AT THE BRIDGE) & I haven't seen it trading 4 less than $50, on ANY of the used/trading sites, in years.
