One one side, I can see how they would be difficult to market to an American audience considering their english probably isn't the best. Unfortunately talent takes a back seat to "gimmicks". The luchadores had some of the best technical matches of this era, but that's pretty much the only reason they were there save a few.

Plus, isn't this usually how Mexicans are treated in America? Work hard and get little in return? Not to mention the ire of the people.
