Trulli is arugably since Senna, is the best qualiier of his time.

We all saw how fast he was with Renault in 2004, outdueling the great Ferrari F2004 with Michael Schumacher in it...

I actually wonder how fast Trulli would be if he had a Red Bull of 2011 or Ferrari F2002 or F2004.

@muddwell In deed: To put him in perspective I'll ask this: would Senna of won more than 1 race if he could of raced in some of the cars that Trulli has raced in over the years like that 2004 Renault & the TF109 ? then I'd have to say yes Senna woulda won many more ! Bahrain Spa & Malaysia 09 especially stick out ! (as I said below mostly) but did Trulli win more no & should he of done yes ! so he's not in the league of greats but did he have the raw pace & potential to be a great definately !

People say Trulli train but I say he out paced the car in qualifying & then fell back in the race cause the cars he drove (mostly) had no race pace.

I reckon Trulli suffered since losing V10s as his smooth style used to be an advantage in V10 cars but V8s seem to reward aggression "on most tracks" so imho i think he lost out since V8s
