  • I think two strokes are pretty awesome, but you can see why no one wants to be behind them on group rides.

  • Sounds like a crack fueled chainsaw on steriods...Love it!

  • You must really, really piss your neighbours off, you spacca

  • sound like it just wants to take off ... Awesome!!

  • this bike is not rare, when i was a kid this is what everybody raced, the 125, 250s 350s and 500s and yes the wonderful 700s

  • @rikwalker917 Ummm, this is one of the rarest 2 wheeled machines ever built. I believe only two currently exist on the planet and both are reproductions. These were raced with great success for only 2 years(1967 and 68) by the best and brightest in the world.

  • Stunning bike

  • georgeous little bike!

  • Bill Ivy averaged 100MPH on a lap (38 Miles) at the Isle of Man TT in 1968 on one of these!

  • rrriiinggriiinnnggriiinnnggggrrriiinngggriiinnngggggrriinnnnggggrrriinngggg

  • roflol,,, the reply made me smile nice one Serib :)

  • no match for my yz 250

  • I for one, would love to see more details of the bike's construction. Maybe that's what the wwwaaaannnkkkeeerrr meant!

  • I can't even imagine what that thing revs too

  • @ironDsteele The 125 V4 had the red line at 17000 rpm but Bill Ivy did a whole simulated race distance at a Brands Hatch test session using 18000 with no ill effects.

  • reving the fuck out of it cold wtf

  • @DeVoN420zz thats how a 2 stoke should be warmed up

  • @DeVoN420zz lol it's being warmed up

  • Idiots, ride it, so we can see it go.. old farts, I swear~!!!!

  • like a swiss watch

  • Fantastic sound

  • A fascinating piece of racing history. The ultimate 125cc two stroke. They kill off the 125cc class next season so effectivley killing the 2 stroke engine in gp racing for good.Shame really,

  • @trunk39able KTM has a clean air 2 stroke 900 twin in works, How about a 2 stroke porsche 911

  • @trblcumn evinrude (bombardier) have had the cleanest engine in the world for a few years now, and its a two stoke outboard.

  • You might like it or not but i still think this is of great historic value for all bikers.

  • kawasaki kr 3 were triples werent they

  • @mark600rider rubbish! some people like me love the smell of twostroke and other race fuel fummes

  • @burghill1979 Oh! the lovely smell of Castrol R from a 2 stroke!

  • You can see and hear the same bike running in Imatra 2010 in my video

    "Yamaha RA31A 125cc V4 in Imatra memorial GP 2010 "

  • 3 minutos e 22 segundos só acelerando? Por que não filmam a moto andando? Por isso quase ninguém gostou.

  • @seribupulau WWWAAAANNNKKKEEERRR!!!!

  • @chargincobraa

    more like twaaaaaat!

  • @chargincobraa LOOOOOOOLL

  • @seribupulau

Dont coment if you dont like it !

    wanker

  • @fantomxriderx15 BOOORINNGGGGG... At least i said what i think, and i dont provoke anyone with bad words. You wanker. This is'nt your video anyway.

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • Wow, I am totally blown away! I heard Kawasaki did a KR3 (4cyl 2stroke), but never believed it. This is the first time I've come across this. I love the high pitch scream. I wonder if this beat Honda's 5cyl 4stroke 125.

  • @1100HondaCB

The Honda 5 cylinder was capable of 136mph & the V4 Yamaha was timed at the TT at 144mph with little Bill Ivy aboard which made it the 8th fastest bike in the Island that year, later that year Ivy broke Mike Hailwoods 350cc lap record at Snetterton on the 125 V4. Hailwood set the 350cc lap record on the 350cc Honda 4.

  • @1100HondaCB This bike actually ran under 10,000rpm unlike the honda 5. The honda 5 was nothing to sneeze at but never dominated the 125 class like this ra31 did. This bike was the1st 125cc bike to do a 100mph lap at the IOM in 1968 with Bill Ivey in control. I believe Phil Read did it also though. This made 44hp @17000rpm and had a 9 speed gear box .-I gather that this gentleman(Ferry Brower) put all of his rare gems in action this year for the big aniv at the IOM. VIDEO ANYONE ???!!!

  • bicycle?

  • Sixties two stroke GP bikes were fairly prone to seizure, mechanics at the time erred on the side of caution & often jetted them to run a little rich, thus the smokescreen!

  • So i'm guessing you don't usually warm up your two stroke...?

  • Awesome bike, nice video mate.

  • It takes so long for those engines to warm up

  • @powertoweight100

    3mins isnt long :o

  • @eamh2002 What? The bike was still massive polluting even after they started riding it. 3mins? I think not.

  • mmm, skip to 3:00 and watch.

  • sounds like my mum on a good day or should that be a bad day!!!!

  • yeah it is :D yay two strokes

  • nice bike but is killing the people around it
