Canadian bands rock! they don't follow the weekly trends and fashion shifts like American bands. I was lucky enough to have played around Canada for 7 years-good times!
I saw them play the Piccadilly 5-O in London the week this album came out. They were incredibly tight. We had the tape playing in the car during the intermission and the band came out the side door for some air. When they heard the album playing they came over to talk to us for a while. Turns out the girl on the cover was Holly Woods' daughter. She wasn't very happy about the picture. The bassist, keyboard player and the sound guy smoked up with us. Second set was better than the first ;-)
They once opened for Ted Nugent in Ottawa and I clearly remember them blowing away the Ted Nugent performance. This band was very tight on stage. This is a great guitar solo.
1984 I got to see them in Edson, Alberta. Great band in a poor venue. The next day, I gassed up their bus as they headed East to Edmonton. They said the fans were not that great the night before. I told them that I was cheering madly. They replied. Ya, we think we saw you. LOL
I got to see Toronto back in the early 80's and was a great show. Unfortunately, they, like other great Canadian bands were so poorly mismanaged and taken advantage of, they never got what they deserved. Shame on the music labels. Other bands that were screwed were Kick Axe, Queen City Kids and Streetheart only to name a few.
Have the vinyl! Saw them in '80 or '81 with Prism, Foreigner, Warren Zevon and ..... some other band Was an all day concert at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium. Rocked hard all day. Great memories. Thanks for posting.
My Dad taped this song at the time (before I was born), thrashed it all through my childhood until we lost the cassette, and I've been looking for it ever since! Epic Canadian Rock! Where can I buy this?!
was never a fan of most 80`s music...but I loved this group...and could never figure out why they were not more popular...so glad to have found them here !!
Very under-rated Canadian band. I was lucky enough to see them here in Toronto. The album cover you see here is the Canadian cover. Their American record company changed the album cover completely for distribution in the USA. It was, according to them, too "risque" and promoted child prostitution.
annie woods and brian allen were a great team, her amazing vocals and his seering guitar were beautiful!!i cant remember how many times i saw them at GTA bars, lost count (and brain cells)great memories
1980!!! Twenty nine years ago! I thought I was in high school only a few years ago. Awesome song even though it reminds me how fast time passes and how old I am.
Toronto ROCKS!!!!!

tbirdz12, you're not the only one looking, and waiting for 5035.
A number of people have posted on other Toronto videos asking for the same thing.
Maybe someone will get around to uploading the song soon.
