The first time I heard this song, I didn't know what to think about it. It was so soft for such a "metal guy" like me! But with time, I realized all the underneath strength of this song, there's so much emotion indeed.

I love the passage at 2:46, when Devin resumed the verse with a upper level of intensity, it's so strong!

One could spend hours deciphering the content in the vid but to me there is only one word that describes the theme in the vid: Mystery. I envy his work greatly, especially the direction that this song took. The last minute of the song is of course so intense but unexpectedly relaxing towards the end. He does well financially; he's made a lot of good business decisions in terms of how to produce, record and distribute his albums, so it isn't like he's worried about his retirement or anything, which is amazing for a musican.

I'm not saying I don't think he deserves more recognition, just that you needn't worry about his finances.

Devin Townsend is tied for my favorite musician of all time with Jeff Waters of Annihilator. Jeff Waters is a really incredible song writer as well, although he's been in the scene for quite a few years longer than Townsend, he still is amazing and is unfortunately not respected by North American record labels

Very nice video. Hats off to Konrad Palkiewicz. The use of lighting (and lack of lighting) and industrial shots give the song a different approach, and in my humble opinion, adds to the tension of the song.

I never even heard the strings around 3:10 before... It's interesting how much more I notice the small, but awesome samples and atmospheres in the background, while watching the video.
