because mongo is the style for me. i can skate switch, i can snowboard switch better. i lead with my dominant leg, push with my dominant leg... seems simple to me.

@sprRoss thats why you can skate switch better because your foot you normally push with is the back foot for switch stance. I guess it doesn't matter which stance you use as long as you practice both equally.
