he is definitely my favorite drummer. He might not have tricks up his sleeves(although he does) but he makes music that sounds good and not just about technicalities. Tool's technicalities are an added bonus. And he can beat the crap out of mike mortnoy/mangini(cause he is so big :O )

Look how much fun these guys are having! It'd be a real treat to see guys like Danny and Kirk play together. Danny get always gets a lot of props as a great drummer, rightfully so. But Kirk is unbelievably underrated.

Yea, Stratus is a classic Billy Cobham tune. It usually has a big drum solo at the beginning so I think the big drum duet here was quite appropriate.

I saw VOLTO! 2 nights ago. Just what you think it would be like, but 93 times better. I was 10' from Danny the entire set, and about 100 people in the club. Small place, Covington was fucking awesome. Out of his hind awesome.

I am really appreciative that you posted this John, I've been wanting to see Volto! since I heard of the project, not to mention Danny is the guy who got me, not just into drums, but into music, so I hold him in very high reguard.
