I couldn't agree more, Blob. In fact, in addition to our ground-breaking advancements in the field of in-flight communications, I also remember fondly our pioneering biomedical research, as we pushed the boundaries of the body's liver filtration capabilities to heights heretofore undreamed of. And I would certainly be remiss not to mention your exploration in the field of canine and feline behavioral science. Kudos, Herr Doktor! BS
I am chagrined to reveal, some 25 years after the fact, that I am the rather portly pilot attired in the blue print Ross Dress For Less shirt and the spiffy red Sky Ad baseball cap. I must stress that my comments in the video were intended primarily for comedic effect and were in no way meant to reflect negatively upon Banner Bob, his aircraft or his operation. It was a privilege to work for him and I count those days as some of the happiest of my life, professional and otherwise.
I share your opinion that it was a privilege to work for this highly professional operation. After the extremely stringent entrance exams and company indoctrination it became apparent that only a few select individuals could be part of the life-enhancing Bob Cannon experience. The extreme discipline exhibited by Sky-Ad pilots rivaled or even surpassed those of comparable organizations such as the Thunderbirds or Blues. The in-house developed radio communications were a thing of beauty! BG
that looks like a pretty cool job for just being out of "school".. definitely beats a mall job.. =)
