Great movie...cos it has a B25 in it! I Think some people don't believe me, but when I flew in Papua New Guinea for a living, in 2000 I flew clean over the top of a B25 lost in the sago swamps of the Sepik. That thing was totally complete from what I could see but it's gotta be completely inaccessible and to see it you have to fly dead overhead pretty damned low. Can't believe I didn't punch the GPS to mark it but was enroute Telefomin-Wewak in weather and busy staying outta the swamp myself !!

I remember watching this as a kid with my grandmother who sadly passed away a couple of months ago. I found the video tape today after sorting out some of her stuff. This brings back so many memories, I must have watched this movie about 10 times when I was younger. RIP nan.

I was impressed by Elijah Wood when I first saw this around age 5, and I like Mel Gibson, but this movie gave me nightmares for years! :)

Great movie!! I started flying at about 12, on a smaller plane. Not quite so scary, but definitely more fun than a roller coaster!!

Movies today have CGI, a greater number of actors at their disposal, and tons of old movies they can build upon...

yet these older movies are better. You can actually watch a random few and still keep a straight face when referring to cinema as "art".

Try to do THAT with a random bunch of movies nowadays. Not the same.

I liked the movie. I especially liked these scenes with the airplane.  Fantastic!!!
