Hearing this song I'm taken straight back to spring 1991, on leave after spending five months away on my first ship, and driving around rural Cambrigeshire in my mate's Ford Cortina. We spent a fortune on batteries for his portable tape recorder, just so that we could listen to this album again and again as we went nowhere. 'Goodbye Jumbo' will forever be one of my 'Desert Island Discs', for so many reasons. Fantastic. Thanks for posting.
