@wolfman109h So... OFR is better I think... This Edge III have good low profile. And properly working. Not perfect... so properly. I have no problem with tuning, back to zero position etc.... You choice.

@Krestamos: Flo is an old FLOral pattern Jem painted white and equiped with a sustainer and Evo is a Jem prototype equiped with DiMarzio Evolution pickups...

@Krestamos Actually Steve Vai plays the PROTOTYPE Jems. He was sent 4 Prototypes, 1 named POGO loaded with DiMarzio Breeds (or Pogo Pickups at the time), 2 unnamed (one with DiMarzio Panhead and one with DiMarzio Flathead), and then EVO which he loaded DiMarzio Evolutions. The DiMarzio Evo pickups are also prototypes which explains why they still have black poles. The neck's not even the original neck.

What kind of strings you got? and how much action does it have straight out of the store?

I use D'Adario orLaBella HRS 9-42. It have same size(9-42) straight of the store... so, I do not know which factory. Action and all settings allready done. You must look for guitars made before 2008 y. Now it is made in Indonesia, and I read lot of bad oppinion about new models. Good luck

Yeah...I know... Now prices is about 600-750 in England... So I think, because new models Jem's555 coming from factory in Indonesia.. And I think is make with lowest quality, that why prices lowest.. So I'm not sure...The Jem's555 normaly it's lower level class of JEM, so I think it made to 2006-2007 y. from Korea is the best...That's only my opinion...

So....i think You must find setings in Your Marshall... I use old digital Multi DigiTech RP6.

Effects: Grunge, delay and reverb(church hall). I recorded it without ampli, just plug multi directly to microfone in socket in my laptop. Keep trying..good luck!!!!

I don't know...maybe... Steve play only with JEM-s prepared special for him... this model is only signed...so, only one thing from real JEM its pickups...(DiMarzio EVO)...It,s cheaper JEM....for amateurs ... Iike Me... ;-)))
