  • As a offical representative of the soviet people i would like to make the following announcement AHEM "BULLSHIT!"

  • Well.. not that fun when someone shoots you with it XD

  • original swiss sigs are the finest quality rifles around, heavy, but very well made,as for the norinco, dont let the made in china fool you, these are very well made AKs,thicker barrels with tiny serations along the length to act like a radiator and aid in cooling, the reciever is 1.5mm thick as opposed to 1mm which is typical of most stamped AKs,very stark contrast when comparing AK vs SIG550,im a purest myself(keep the wood),nice vid, nice gun

  • @TabCrusher i believe that our Swiss standard riffle is way too good for the average soldier. they are too expensive. basically everyone is issued a sniper riffle without the scope.

  • @2mnyshp i once visited the SIG plant where they make the guns and a lot of the different manufacturing processes are made by hand.

  • i heard that swiss citizens are issued a sig 550 for free,if so at what age did you recieve yours,if they did that in the U.S. they would be sold for drugs

  • @TabCrusher you get them when you enter your military service.once you're done you can either keep it (costs you a tiny bit of money) or you can give it back.

  • if you keep it you have to keep shooting the mandatory shooting events. however before it's completely yours, you have to send it in to disable burst and fully auto capabilities.

  • nice vid dud.. i got russian ak47.. now i know the diff. between russian and chinese ak..tnx

  • Chinese only can copy things and dont made them good never fucking copying basterds

  • @BLACKZAPPER20 at least they can talk properly. unlike you.

  • the stock isnt meant to be folded while firing it is just for transportation use for example an armoured personnel carrier you need as much space as you can get inside one of those

  • @altair5123 i know. it's still fun to shoot with it folded every once in a while. in pictures you can spot a lot of libyan rebels shooting with a folded stock but i soubt they hit anyhting except their battle-buddies...

  • @altair5123 to be specific they are used by paratroopers specifically because paratroopers have to carry and be lightweight

  • @2mnyshp Hello, I live in Sweden and practice shooting Semi automatic rifles. Since I'm still in school I don't have that much money to spend (800 euros) on a rifle. And like you said I don't want to pay 900 euros for a plastic arsenal. So my question is where did you get it?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @CaptainAwesome5870 i bought it here in Switzerland.

  • Are ak47 magazines compatible with the type 56 rifle?

  • @USMCpwnage4u2 yes, standard military magazines are compatible.

  • The "thingy" surrounding the sight post is called the "sight hood".

  • Ich will Schweizer werden :-)! Und ich mein das ehrlich

  • @HeiniSauerkraut

Sie sollte American werden! :) Wir hat auch gut Waffengesetze!

(Pardon, meine Deutsch ist sehr gut nicht)

  • @Cozmolyne Yes its another option to become american. Despite the strikt gun laws in Germany, I own legally 2 Handguns and some Rifles, but its hard to get more handguns and semiautomatc rifles or pumpaction shotguns. There are many gungrabbers in german politics. It´s popolism, partially due to wrong depiction in media. Statistically gun owners are one of the most lawful citizens in Germany. Otherwise you wont get a gun or loose a already owned gun.

Thank you for answering in german.

  • @HeiniSauerkraut

Believe me, I know where you're coming from but fortunately, the gun grabbers in American politics is abundant as well, but they do not have much power.

Me and many other American gun owners welcome you to America to stay as long as you please and to share our freedom.

Again, I apologize if my German was bad.

  • is it hard too get citizenship in switzerland?

  • @noerden91 haha pretty hard i guess

  • Folding stock AK's makes me feel like I should put on a parachute and jump out of a plane for an invasion!

  • clean furniture.

  • uuh...is the slect fire of Type 56 is safe>semi>full or just like orther Russia AK:safe>full>semi?

  • @caovanchi27 yep, the original type 56 has the same order like it's russian counterpart.

    cheers!

  • Nice rifle and nice vid. I've got the fixed stock version. Mine is plenty accurate. Hell my Norinco 84S is just as accurate as any M4 including my Stag Arms Model 2.

  • @screamingdemon most guns are sufficently accurate. it's usually the shooter's hand or body position that denies an accurate shot.

  • That has some beautiful wood furniture. Nice AK

  • @gunnz53 it's better than polymer, isn't it ;)

  • @2mnyshp It adds so much more character to the gun :}

  • @2mnyshp nice rifle, i wish i didn't have to have the thumbhole stock on my mak 90 in nys.... :(

  • @TheGarbear14 is it illegal to put on a regular pistol grip and stock, even if the parts are American-made? Happy New Year!

  • @2mnyshp well depends on state but mostly yes. i need to replace alot more parts and i have the assault weapons ban in my state. bans having 2 or more features, i have preban mags to avoid having to use 10round magazines, but it starts to get confusing. i can do it but sadly it will probably cost me alot just to put a pistol grip on legally, and i cannot get any form of folding stock at all......

  • @2mnyshp 2 or more features on the list. ex: folding stock, pistol grip, "high cap mag"

  • Mein goodness this is a good looking gun. You are probably right, if not mistaken this is banned in my country.

  • y 2 dislikes?

  • chansch demet nor in schüsschäller?

  • how come it looks kinda dirty?

  • THATS 1 CLEAN GUN

  • I can't see any external difference between this real steel and the airsoft replica by Real Sword.

  • @ybrik5 that's because Real Sword airsoft guns are made by the same factory that makes this rifle.

  • wo chansch demet go schüsse?

  • Its called a hooded sight. Your english is very good by the way. Nice rifle!

  • Häsch du das bim Joray kauft?

  • @Boojakascha jep ;)

  • @2mnyshp

Ih bis mir ebe au schwer am überlegge^^

Het nie denkt dases Holz so schöö isch

  • @2mnyshp Does Norinco currently import in your country?

  • best AK so far in human history..

  • I've always used the sights on the barrel to distinguish between a Type 56 and an AK-47.

Full circle sights? You probably have a Type 56.

    Semi-circlular would be an AK-47.

  • @Fr0st1989 the easiest way to tell is by the diagonal rivets on the front trunnion means its chinese if its horizontal its european

  • @MrTurkeybird09 It could be Yugoslovian if it has diagonal rivets on the front trunnion, but generally you're right. They are gonna be Chinese most of the time.

  • The type56 was made very high quality during 1950s 1960s, but during the war chinese defense Vietnam during 1970s, the Chinese army found the type56 is not good as the Russian ak47, because the weather in Vietnam is too wet, the type56 get rusted more easy than the ak47, but it only happened in the early model, for civilian use, I don't think that will be a problem

  • @aklbruce well, i'm not planning on storing it outside in the garden next to the lowers ;). as for the regular sweat stanes, i'm wiping the gun with an oily towel after every time i've shot it.

  • @2mnyshp I wouldn't believe what he's saying anyways. Lots of stuff people say on the Internet isn't true.

  • @aklbruce Where did you hear that? Source? I've got Chinese AK's made in the 80's and 90's and they are very high quality rifles. They shouldn't rust anymore then other AK rifles.

  • @esh325 one of my friends father was using type 56 during that war, that is what his father told him, as i said, that only happened in the early models(1950s - 1960s), after the war, the factory changed metal or something i do not know, but not get rusted that easy anymore.... or maybe they dont clean the gun very often.... BTW, i am a type 56 lover too, you know during the chairman mao's time, everything made very high quality, not like now

  • @aklbruce then why didd most ak-47 found in the hands of the vietmanese in the veitnam war, were not russian ak-47 s but chinese type 56 s?

  • LOL dont get the wrong idea about wood!! haha.

  • I have one of these and i love it...

  • @Zyn88 whats better this or the good old ak 47

  • @sylvaticalexpro The Type 56 is just a Chinese copy of the Russian AK. Mechanically, there are no differences (except the once seen here is the sport model i.e. semi-auto, whereas the Russian AK is select-fire). There are minor differences, such as a hooded front sight, and most Type 56s do not have a threaded muzzle, although mine does). Technically, the Type 56 is a variant of the AK, so really there should be zero mechanical differences between the two. Same mechanical = same shooting.

  • @Zyn88 Yeah, I don't really notice a huge difference in how my Russian Saiga shoots compared to my Saiga. The majority of the military models of the Type 56 lack a threaded muzzle, where ones made for civilian use can have them some times, and some times not.

  • @Zyn88 I meant to say MAK-90 compared to my Saiga.

  • @Zyn88 thanks

  • Actually the rifle you have has a stamped receiver of 1.25mm.

  • @ERF420 ...as subsequently corrected with annotations.

  • @2mnyshp Oh...I missed that.

  • @MaskedReaper13 , Your sister was great " BITCH " . LMAO!

  • nice vid

  • hey dude, I have been hunting for a type 56 for ages. I'm a vietnam war reenactor and this thing is perfect. would you happen to know where one could aquire one of these guys?

  • @recondobeard i dont' know about the us since i live in switzerland... my guess would be a used arms dealer. i heard people saying that there are a few pre-ban riffles like this still floating around. probably not as cheap though.

  • @2mnyshp yeah these things go for about 1500 now but it is still the best ak variant made and well worth the price

  • @2mnyshp what do you mean single action?

  • @recondobeard

you can buy them inert from norway for around 700 dollars all you need to do are to change the barrel an bolt then you are good to go

  • Also, its a STAMPED receiver.

  • @BuffaloTPU yeah, i fixed it a while back (got to turn on annotations). cheers.

  • That gun is worth about 1,500 - 2,000 USD in the USA

  • @MaskedReaper13 , Hey trash is the racist remark necessary?

  • these are not banned in america

  • nice video man do you have and info on the 26 stamp in a triangle

  • @Erh4bi The wood is like that from the factory.

  • I see. I was not understanding what you had said. Norinco and and Polytech were banned, but the law that baned them expired in 2004 along with the brady law(banned extended clips). We do have a 922r compliance that we have to follow, that means that if you change anything on they gun it has to be American made. You have to have 5 compliance parts to be legal. In other word the U.S. government is/was mad that the Russians built a better gun than they can.

  • @failedgovexperiment aaah I always was wondering about that! in many videos you hear people talking about parts of their guns being american made. So basically when guns are imported they have to be "americanized" to sell them legally? Does that mean that you can't buy an original, unmodified SAIGA riffle anywhere in the US?

  • @2mnyshp you can but it can't be changed unless you change all 5 parts. Like I put an after market stock, pistol grip, and hand guards on my MAK 90, so now i have to get 2 more compliance parts, either: a gas tube(1), trigger cluster(3), receiver(1), bolt(1), carrier(1), ammo clip(3), trunnion(1), or flash suppressor(1). The numbers have to equal a total of 5. Stock, pistol grip and hand guards equal 3 points.

  • @2mnyshp

I also live in swizerland ,and I`m looking 4 a good AK ….

Where did you get your one ? And where did you get the Amo from ?

    Thank 4 the help mate

  • @BlackWatch88, I do know they have this one at Lagardere in La Chaux-de-Fonds, for Frs 650.-. And you can get the ammo there too.

  • @failedgovexperiment actually it is not the amount of us parts that it needs to have but the limited amount of forign parts. an "assault rifle" cannot have more than 10 foreign made parts.

  • @failedgovexperiment You're wrong. Norincos are STILL banned from import. Read up on the history.

  • It is not illegal to own any kind of AK 47 in the United States. I own a Norinco MAK 90, and most of my friends have romanian AK 47's. Different states have different laws New York and New Jersey they are illegal. In my state you only have to have the money and be 18 years of age.

  • @failedgovexperiment no, it's not illegal. but there's a ban on new norinco imports.

  • @TheQ3XXX With AR15 rifles you can add G3 sights if you wish, you can add any kind of sight ever made, You can order any sight you wish. night sights, wide, thin, folding etc. I've owned 5 different style rear sights for AR15s. Don't believe me? Type AR15 sights on google search and find out how many different options you can get. type G3 sights AR15 and look at the picture.

  • @TheQ3XXX The sights on AR15s are much better you can adjust the front post for elevation and rear sight for both windage and elevation. They are more precise.

  • The Type 56 is actually better than most eastern european and russian stamped AKs. The receivers are thicker and the barrels are heavier. They can sustain more punishment than the Russian stamped AKs.

  • @DasBeck 100% true, the US special forces use the type 56 AKs when they need to be covert in a combat zone.

  • @semiautoriflelover dude I wouldn't doubt it. That's the one thing I've seen that says "made in china" that isn't cheap and sucks balls. It is a fuckin workhorse.

  • @DasBeck

are you sure about that i have type - 56

  • @DasBeck

are you sure because i took type56 instade of ak47 in my country type56 is cheaper in praice and people always think that russian is better

  • @mas3ary yes. Take time to look at them. I can't speak for every single chinese gun ever made nor can I every Russian gun made. Just cuz people think Russian guns are better doesn't mean they are. If most of the Russian guns are milled then they probably are better. I am talking about stamped reveivers. I also have a chinese AK and previously owned a Russian made ak. I would take my chinese one to a firefight first

  • @DasBeck The vast majority of Russian and Chinese AK's are stamped. A milled AK isn't really any better then a stamped AK.

  • @esh325 Again my argument was chinese stamped vs european/russian stamped. I don't give a shit about milled receivers. Just making a point on the durability of the chinese stamped receiver vs durability of other receivers. A point everyone seems to have been missing on here.

  • @DasBeck Not trying to argue. Yeah, arguebally the Chinese ones might be more durable then the 1mm. I read that a Chinese engineer who worked on the Type 56 said he wasn't impressed with the durability of the 1mm receiver. The Russian RPK has a 1.5mm like the Chinese AK does, so maybe the durability advantage is seen mostly in fully automatic.

  • The round thing is a hooded front sight.

  • Chinese AK's are illegally manuefactured and are not as accurate or reliable as the Russian AK-47

  • @hellcatdave1 accuracy doesn't really matter for a 20m shooting distance. i'm not going to war with this riffle ;)

  • @2mnyshp haha.....nice come back buddy...norincos are fun to shoot :)

  • @2mnyshp check out my norinco videos, I was firing standing at 200 yards and hit man target every time.

  • @hellcatdave1 i know these are pretty crappy and if you are gonna get an ak get the kalashnikov

  • @MrZimmer96 they are all kalashnikovs since its the name of the design / name of the man who came up with the initial design.

  • @2mnyshp true but it is not a real russian kalash

  • @2mnyshp and to you im really trying to be an ass i am just not the biggest fan of them but any of the comments going to HiCapacity do are not to you i have respect for you because you are not going on a bloody rampage about a comment

  • @2mnyshp and to you im not trying to be an ass i am just not the biggest fan of them but any of the comments going to HiCapacity do are not to you i have respect for you because you are not going on a bloody rampage about a comment

  • @MrZimmer96 If you think this is a crappy AK then you are not very knowledgeable about rifles.

  • @MrZimmer96 You're a fucking idiot. The chinese ak's are some of the finest quality ak's out there. Get your shit together before you make yourself look like an idiot.

  • @HiCapacity get your shit together the chinese are just russian wannabees because they just want to copy every thing the mother land does they copy communism ak 47 and ak 74sthe t 34 tank and much more, the middle easter countries are to fucking poor to do anything so they copy the finest military in the world but they fail at it

  • @hellcatdave1 Not true, the thicker barrel on my Norinco was more accurate than my Russian AK.

  • @TheQ3XXX the 550 is better IMO. it's easier to operate the select fire lever (for right and left hand shooters), the bolt assembly stays open after the last shot has been fired, overall more durable finish, easy diopter switching for different ranges (waaaay better to aim with), 2 ways of setting the gass nosle, integrated bi-pod... i don't think we have to talk about precission ;)

it' as accurate as a sniper riffle and as mobile as a regular infantry weapon (ok, its a bit heavier hehe)

  • @2mnyshp oh yeah and the most important thing: the trigger has an actual pressure point and not a sirect trigger.

  • @TheQ3XXX ammo prices are usually pretty high. but there also are some good bargains if you keep your eyes open. if you buy "good" ammo (Sellier & Bellot) they'll charge you up to CHF 620 (!!) for a 1000. but i use russian copper plated steel case ammo with a soft steel core. that's "only" CHF 240. my AK doesn't really care if brass or steel ;)

  • looks like your prepared in case shit goes down hill

  • Very nice video and beautiful rifle!

  • Comment removed

  • You lucky person, that is a sweet rig.

  • @Erh4bi hey! the wood is from norinco. i purched this riffle brand new. no previeous owner. cheers!

  • That's a beautitful Chinese AK. That is correct that they were banned from being imported into the United States. I have about 10 Chinese AK's. The receiver is clearly stamped on your rifle, not milled. The rivets and dimples are a dead give away it's stamped. If it were milled, it would have two long rectangular lightening cuts on each side. The sight would be called a hooded front sight. Nice video.

  • @esh325

Yeah, it's clearly stamped. I actually ment stamped but i used the wrong word. All this reading up probably put me off ;)

  • @2mnyshp Will you make a video of it shooting or other firearms you have?

  • @esh325 Don't know about shooting because you're not allowed to record videos in the range where I'm shooting the riffle. But one day I'll go to another one. And yes, I'm gonna make some other videos from some of my other guns.
