People who post negative comments here about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are completely deceived. They know not the true Spirit of God or the first thing about how to seek it so they may know the Church and its doctrines are true.They try to prove it wrong with their own secular learning. Yet the Church continues to grow at an exponential rate. This they cannot explain because the true power and Spirit of God is yet not in their hearts. They are truly lost So pray for them

Speculation is a dangerous thing.

People who post semi-negative comments about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is sometimes because members of the Church have used speculation when describing doctrines of the Church/and or they them selves are using far reaching explanations in defensive of their own 'Christain' beliefe systems

I don't want to sound negative, but trying to find out what exactly mormons believe is like pulling teeth, & it feels deceptive. I ask about anything & I always just get what they think I want to hear, rather than a straightforward one. I've gotten such a wide range of answers from missionaries on any topic, after months of research, I feel like there are no answers. & I've read the BoM, D&C, & PoGP.

I don't blame people who get confused & make assumptions, even if they sound ridiculous to you.

's funny in a sad way but if you look at Mormon Art, It shows Mayan temples because they have never found any existences of The Nephites or Lamonites Temples, so they use the Mayan temples for their story's. Mayan temples have nothing to do with LDS in anyway what so ever.

You would think the LDS people would question that fact.

If the Book of Mormon is true, then why has the Mormon church changed it? There are upward of 3913 changes in the Book of Mormon, excluding punctuation changes. The Dead Sea Scroll manuscripts validate the accuracy of the Old Testament and are on display at the "shrine of the Book" in Israel. Unfortunately the golden plates cannot be manifested. Mormonism is a man made religion. Joseph Smith is NOT a descendant of Jesus! Jesus did not marry and have children!! Blasphemy !!

Now Sadly, Joseph Smith-like the Jews-failed to see the real temple is Christ-rebuilt in3days-Christ's resurrected body.the temple in which the Holy Spirit dwells are believers who put their faith in Christ for His righteousness for their righteousness, for their sanctification.

People of faith look forward to a city built by the hands of God,not the hands of men(Heb 11).Isn't that why Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob lived in tents?They looked forward to a city in which the architect is God,not man.

yeah but the lord never said that anyone was not allowed in the house of god i belive that he would let all into the temple so why do the mormons think they are the only ones allowed in. that is just the evil of the lds church

But because your Heavenly Father loves you so much, I'll try and explain, the Holy Temple is a sacred place. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints have been prepared and have done things to prepare them selves to enter into the Holy Temple. Please prepare yourself.

Nice buildings. However, they are a bit obnoxious and dominating when placed in certain parts of town. Clearly, they are meant to be. The ones that I've seen seem kind of mausoleum-like.

Doesn't matter where you go in the world you cant mistake an LDS Temple. Stunning architecture, some are almost fairytale in appearance, others very South American, ie Mayan/Inca and others Colonial. Really striking buildings when other Christian religions seem to have forgotten building amazing places of worship.

I always thought that the Ogden and Provo one looked the same! no wonder, they were both dedicated within a month of each other! I live in Ogden, so I've been to that temple many times, it only takes about 5 minutes!
